Just gotta love how palladium only allows a limited amount of links in a page. I tried doing something similar for the Shemarrian thread.
Nice how you've linked everything, does make it easier to look back through stuff.
If you REALLY want comment/attack.. well.. if it was organized by categories like "armour, vehicles, weapons, equipment, personnel" etc.. but that'd be a lot more work.

As always, Abtex, you have my undying admiration for the sheer amount of work you put in, even if I can't comment to each and every one of your posts and give it its just due. You are beyond Energizer Bunny levels of obsessive positive energy. 8)

An 'alter'.?

*Query. Who you calling an 'old fogie'?*
"You prefer prematurely senile goat?"
*Negative. Explain.*
"Or just oblivious airhead?"
*Prefer emotional side of brain not be sarcastic wiseass.*

It's at the doorway (very first posting in) of the topic.
Take a look.
Also needs a little editing. So new people can see the link, larger font. maybe.

Around 875 major posts/items. be easier if I had a working printer. So have to do to it on computer. Just tag each item and sub-item. then copy and paste, to "categories" list.

Make a list of different "categories" or 'Tags' to use, please.

A list of categories? Ok...

vehicles divided between civilian (this can include utility) and military (can include military utility): tracked/wheeled/hover/sea, infantry weapons (divided by type of weapon), vehicle weapons (divided by type of weapon), cyborg/power armour weapons (divided by type of weapon), personal armour, eba armour, power armour, skin armour, cyborg frames (civilian/military), robot vehicles (civilian/military), cybernetic parts (miltary/civilian), drones (robots with AIs or remote controls, also divided by military/civilian), air vehicles civilian/military (helicopter, jet, prop, rocket, scramjet, contra-grav, gyro/whatever type of propulsion for aircraft each divided by type of aircraft (fighter, transport, bomber, interceptor)) ), sea vessels (surface/submersible), bio-engineered upgrades (all those superpowered augmentations which could be further divided by military/civilian, psionic/magic/other superpowered such as Vital Gamma, Brass Nitro, Manila Adjutant, etc), personal equipment military/civilian (further divided by categories like tools, sensor systems, environmental controlled suits, anything that's not armour or weapon), shields (physical or energy based), spacecraft (military/civilian further divided by type, transport, shuttle, fighter, bomber, corvette, etc), facilities civilian/military (divided by land, air, space, with further divisions for science, medical, defense, construction, etc), facility systems (stuff like medlabs, building materials or addons for buildings or stations). starship weapons (divided by type of weapon, laser, plasma, railgun, etc) OOOH!! And each category will also need techno-wizard subcategory for each if there is one (tw cyborgs military/civilian, tw vehicles, you get the idea)

Umm.. I'm trying to figure out other kind of stuff he's made.. oooh.. there's those backpack units that have grav units and weapons.. not sure what those would be classified as other than military personal equipment..

So.. there's a quick list of categories if you REALLY want to try.

Paladin Steel/Aegis Stellar Industries Tsiolkovsky-class Heavy Interstellar Transport
(Aka ‘Heinlein Cruiser’, ‘Onion Ship’, ‘Christmas Bulb’, ‘AstroBauble’)

“Here’s the sitrep, people, Star Mercy has dropped a rush order on us, offering to buy or rent as many ships as we have currently ready to go. Seems there’s a big insystem civil war raging over in some human system in the Gaix Sector, and it’s gotten nasty, nasty enough that their neighbors are staging an intervention. Star Mercy wants rescue and hospital ships ready to go in after the peaceforcers, and are looking to us to give material support and hulls. We got three Tsios ready to go; two new transports and the -Daydreamer-, which was supposed to start service with our passenger line. Well, the transports are going to be reconfigured as rescue ships and the starliner as a hospital carrier. We got a week to convert them. Naturally, because we want to keep in their good graces, we’re charging only basic operating expenses on the deal, but we’re still putting a lot of volunteer work into the ships. Fortunately, Star Mercy’s providing the medical gear; we got regeneration tubes, autodocs, and stasis chambers arriving in three days from Paragalos, so if we hop to it now, we can just plug them in when they arrive. But for rescue work we’re going to need to install better sensors and carry more EVA pods...I’m thinking we carry Taons, that way the rescue pilots will also be able to deal with any still-live military ordnance they come across...We can get the sensors from the Scobee Scout lines, but we’ll need to rewire the basic nodes, like so...”
---Special Interdepartmental Briefing, Aegis Stellar Industries/Paladin Steel Amberjin Shipyards.

The Tsiolkovsky-class starships are the ‘big brother’ of the spheroid Kepler-class spacecraft. Like most of PS/ASI’s line of transports, the ships are designed to be multipurpose, and can be configured to serve as cargo carriers, starliners, industrial transports, and even private yachts.
Tsiolkovskys are large spheroid starships with a hint of a ‘stem’ where the main thrusters and auxiliary fusion drives are located. The ships can enter and exit atmospheres, courtesy of their streamlining and antigravity drive systems, and can land on dry land or in water. They are ‘tail sitters’, their decks aligned perpendicular to the long axis of the ship, and the vessel landing and taking off along that long axis. The decks are laid out as sectional circles around a central core, with the bridge near the top, accommodations in the center, and cargo and engineering in the lower decks.
Tsiolkovskys have modest speed but better than average armor, and provision for heavy point defense armament installation(though only basic PDS is usually installed). A basic mono-planar forcefield is standard equipment, though the shielding system is upgradable, at extra expense, to variable forceshielding.
The basic hull and planform is robust enough to tolerate substantial modification, and the basic Tsiolkovsky is expected to sell well as a multipurpose ‘custom-slate’ for buyers looking for a good multi-role hull. PS/ASI has set up several shipyard sites for producing the Tsiolkovsky to order.

Type: PS/ASI-SC08 Tsiolkovsky
Class: Heavy Multipurpose Interstellar Transport
Crew: Can operate with as few as 25 crew members, but works best with a crew of 50.
Configured as a starliner, the Tsiolkovsky can carry an additional 10-80 crew, and up to 1,700 passengers.
If doubling up with economy-class accommodations for short runs(no more than a week’s travel), the ship can carry 2,500 passengers.
‘Sleeper’ ships carrying passengers in suspended animation can carry up to 5,000 in stasis.
MDC/Armor by Location:
Main Body 9,000
Bridge 3,000
Hangar Bays(2) 1,000 each
Drive Bloc 5,000
Point Defense Turrets(1-12) 150 each
Forcefield 10,000
Height: 600 ft
Width: 600 ft
Length: 680 ft
Weight: 100,000 tons
Cargo: Normally only carries 12,000 tons. If carrying only cargo, can stow 80,000 tons
Powerplant: Nuclear Fusion, w/ 40 year energy life
Speed:
(Atmosphere) Hover to Mach 3; transatmospheric.
(Sublight) Mach 6
(Kitsune Values: 20 % of light speed; Accelerates/decelerates at 0.6% of light speed per melee)
(FTL) 4 light years per hour
(Underwater) ---The Tsiolkovsky CAN be equipped to travel underwater, for an extra 70 million credits. Underwater speed of 15 MPH, maximum depth of 4,000 ft

Market Cost: 7 billion credits
Systems of Note:
Standard Starship Systems

Weapons Systems: None standard, but comes with provision for up to twelve weapons stations(up to Medium class).

Auxiliary Craft:
4 Aerospace Shuttles
1-8 In-atmo Aircraft(VTOLs)
2-10 EVA Pods

Variants:
The following are a few of the more commonly-requested configurations.

*PS/ASI-SC08T----Military cargo transport. The engines have been tweaked for greater speed(Mach 7) and shields are 50% better than civilian make. Typically mounts a full twelve combined laser-mini-missile launcher turrets for point defense.

*PS/ASI-SC08AH---Hospital Ship conversion. Mounts long range sensors. Carries an expanded crew with 90 additional medical staff. Ward capacity of 1,800 patients, plus 3,000 in stasis. Depending on circumstances, may or may not be armed with point defense weaponry.

*PS/ASI-SC08AGS---Deep Space Research Vessel. This variant is distinguished by the extra and larger arrays of sensors mounted on the hull. Generally these sensors are useless for tactical purposes, but can glean details of local astronomical phenomena or make observations of distant stellar objects.

*PS/ASI-SC08ATS---Heavy Salvage Vessel. Besides tractor beam projectors and extra-long robotic grappling arms, the ship features external magnetic/molecular adhesion panels and external cargo attachment points. The VTOLs are typically replaced with additional EVA workpods, skiffs, or salvage drones.

*PS/ASI-SC08DSPC----Deep Space Patrol Craft. Sensor range is DOUBLED. Typically carries two medium range and six short range weapons on its turret-mounts, and 8 aerospace craft rather than in-atmo aircraft.

*PS/ASI-SC08DSFR----Frigate conversion. Changes include a more powerful engine(maximum speed Mach 10), additional armor(increase MDC of all locations by 30%), variable forcefields( 1,000 per side, 6,000 total). All of which increase the ship’s mass by 30%. The DSFR typically mounts four medium twin-barrel laser turrets and ten point defense turrets(typically combined pulser-lasers/mini-missile mounts).

*PS/ASI-SC08DSDE----Destroyer Escort conversion, Has the same structural and drive enhancements as the DSFG, but is more specialized as an escort and screening vessel with eight short range laser cannons, ten laser-and-mini-missile turrets, and four short range missile batteries(volleys of 1-10 each, 30 missiles ready to fire). As convoy escorts, many carry countermeasure launchers or sandcasters in their small cargo bays, to further decoy enemy sensor-guided weaponry away from themselves and their charges.

More like End of the Year Breather. Plenty of stuff in the oven, garage, fabricator, drydock, hangar, and shipyard, but just need the time and energy to push'em over those remaining missing details I haven't figured out and into what I'd consider a satisfactory state of completion.

Random Paladin Steel Character ‘Rebuild’ Augmentation Program Selection

“I don’t see how recruiting an mentally-challenged man-child to be the bio-nexus of a networked exploration drone command-control system is ‘exploiting’ that person. If anything, we’ve given him the ability to satisfy his curiousity across an entire SOLAR SYSTEM. Our instruments are just along for the ride.”

“You to remember that with the fall of the Golden Age with the Coming of the Rifts, many of the great institutions that would take care of the infirm and the unable vanished overnight. Not everybody who was born a mutant after those days was blessed with magical or psionic powers, or some other edge. Most mutations were dertrimental, most early illnesses that didn’t kill outright, deformed and crippled. Our planetary societies went from caring for those damaged by birth and childhood, to killing deformed children to spare them. Or worse yet, ‘exposing’ them to the wilds. Elder care wasn’t much better. If you were well-placed and lucky enough, like in Chi-Town, you had a society to care for you, but the majority of places it was hit and miss. At least in the GNE, we have plans and options, and we don’t just plug people into life support; we give them purpose as well.”

“Yeah, I’m ninety years old and never felt better! I may spend the next ten tears paying off my cyborg conversion costs, but they say I’m now good for another twenty or thirty years, after which who knows what new state of the art may be available! I’ll be kicking ass for another decade or more! Maybe forever! Ha!”

“Waste Not, Want Not” is one of the operating mottos of Greater New England, and that applies to manpower as well. Unless you’re a criminal who’s earned a death sentence, the GNE makes use of virtually all its living assets, including its citizens. There are no orphans in the GNE, because those that go unclaimed become wards of the state...and the state can find places for all of them. Even special needs children find a place in state and company employment, even if they have to be physically or mentally modified to fit.
The implications of that statement alone would shock modern day ethicists, but in the dangerous megaverse post-Rifts world of the GNE, it’s rather enlightened. Most Rifts societies would shunt away or euthanize the terminally ill or congenitally mentally incapacitated as unsalvageable drains on resources. However, the GNE, with its access to genetic medicine and cybernetic interface technologies, has other options.
Admittedly, some children might end up as little more than organic components in an AI-supported cyborg or brain-augmented bioborg, but, Company ethicists argue, that beats having the plug pulled on them. Every measure is taken, during any modification procedures, to make sure any alterations do not reduce the person’s quality of life or their enjoyment of life.
Similarly, the infirm, the aged, the crippled, may be offered the chance at reconstruction. Juicers on Final Call may elect bionic or genetic reconstruction as a means of saving their lives. Geriatric cases may choose a new life as a cyborg or a eugenic superbeing. Sometimes the recently dead found in GNE territory may be resurrected in soem new form.
Of course, altruism isn’t entirely behind these saves. Both the GNE government and the Paladin Steel corporation expect a return on their investment. Thus, many of the people so helped by the ‘Rebuild’ programs are expected at some point to work in some capacity for the company or state. Not all these programs are cheap, as critics are quick to point out, and the most vocal opponents of PS and the GNE claim that the ‘abolitionist state’ is practicing hypocrisy via a new form of corporate-endorsed slavery. PS and the GNE have continually countered these charges with the claim that such converts enjoy a better quality of life than they might otherwise have, and, after a suitable period of service, are free to pursue their own life courses. It’s just that many choose to remain with the Company/State...

01-40%-Bionic Conversion
41-50% -Magic Cybernetic Conversion
51-75%-Eugenic Bio-Mod
76-90% Bioborg/Biotic Conversion
91-00%-Super Empowerment

BONE JACKAL---Black Ops Program

“Here’s the deal; your former employer was going to carve you up into mulch when we pulled you out of that slaughterhouse. Now, even with both your arms and legs cut off, we have a use for you. So, you can spend the rest of your life as a literal basketcase staring at a ceiling with nurses occasionally cleaning you off, or you can work for us, and have your arms and legs back and redemption on the table. But I’ll level with you; we don’t trust you, knowing what you did for your ex-employer, so we’re going to make some changes to that mind of yours to make sure you STAY loyal to us. No more selling your services or your silence to the highest bidder. So, what will it be, life as a torso rotting in a prison cell, or full restoration with a mindwash and a clean start?”

“Really, you are better off this way. The furgens would have hung you for banditry, if they hadn’t decided trading you off to us was the better idea for our alliance. Your execution would have been an utter waste. This is a much more satisfactory arrangement; with your talents applied correctly, you’ll go far in our organization and be a benefit to everyone, including yourself. We just need to have some insurance that you WILL use your abilities in the right way.”
The prisoner on the hospital gurney just glared at the uniformed Advocate officer standing next to her. Her ankle chains rattled and her arm muscles strained as she tested her bonds. Restrained and subdued she might be, but docilated the martial warrior certainly wasn’t.
She lost some of that stoicism when the skinsuited lab technician suddenly appeared at her side, grabbing her bicep in a comradely manner.
“Darling! Just thought I’d let you know we’re almost ready for you! The doctor’s been looking forward to working on you! She says she hasn’t seen such a healthy speciman as you before, but she’s sure she can improve on nature. Just seeing what we have planned for you, I can tell you you’re going to be FABULOUS!”
The genemod labtech took a handheld out from somewhere and began thumbscrolling through a list of medical procedures, bio-enhancements and alterations, chattering enthusiastically about each one, as the prisoner tried to hide under the medical drapery and scoot off the far side of the gurney from her. Her formerly sullen eyes were now panic-stricken, darting back and forth, looking for escape.
The Advocate officer caught her eye again; “You made the right decision. Don’t worry about ever regretting it; we’ll make sure you thought it was your idea all along. In fact, I look forward to making your acquaintance in the future and working with you.”
The prisoner’s eyes went even wider as the nurse appeared from behind her other shoulder and lowered the large double-barreled hypodermic injector to her neck. After that there was no further argument...

BONE JACKAL is a rumored project of Paladin Steel’s black ops squad for using cyber- and bio-tech for changing criminals into cyborgs or bioborgs brainwashed to serve as special operatives loyal to the Company and the GNE. PS’s contract mercenary and security services have been rumored to use their assignments to ‘harvest’ opposition forces and captured insurgents into operatives for their side. BONE JACKAL is supposed to be especially interested in turning corrupt authorities, such as police, into special agents reporting to PS Security and the GNE intelligence services. Rumors abound of this black ops unit using such measures as magic impressment, psionic tampering, brain alteration, BITMIND implants, and symbiotic ‘minders’ to remake BONE JACKAL ‘recruits’ into loyal agents of the GNE and/or the Company. PS contends that some of the evidence of such procedures is necessary plastic surgery to reward defectors and witnesses, and protect them from retribution, but many more cases of ‘questionable procedures’ supposedly exist. Critics of the Company also cite a number of known criminals who, after tangling with PS Security or GNE military forces, showed up again later, either in the service of those they once preyed upon, or behaving VERY differently(though this has just as often been ascribed to changelings, shapeshifters, and auto-gs working for the GNE/PS).
Whether or not BONE JACKAL really exists, the rumors of it are cited by critics of Paladin Steel and Greater New England that the ‘socially responsible’ and ‘friend of the people’ corporation hides a dark side as ugly as any of the other megacorps it claims to distance itself from. After all, if they’re turning criminals into corporate drones and not owning up to it, what’s to say they aren’t doing the same with INNOCENT people?

Paladin Steel PS-FC-50 ‘Hexar’ Full Conversion Cyborg
(aka ‘Hexamitts’)

“Hey, hi there, dude, nice girl you got there on your shoulder, but that’s really no way to treat a lady! Mind if I take her off your hands? I got plenty of arms to hold her! You don’t mind? Okay! You do? Oh, too bad, I thought you were a tough guy and could take a friendly slap in the gut like that! Either I don’t know my own strength or you’’ve got jelly for guts. Well, now you do. Good thing you didn’t get any blood on this lady here. So, any of your buddies want to see if they’re tough too? ‘Cause I got plenty more hands to slap them with, like I did you. You think so? No, you don’t think so, ‘cause you’re dead.”
----Corporal Eddy ‘Fasttalk’ Fastini sez hello to a slaver in the streets of Neo-Chi, as part of Operation Rat-Sweep.

“So you think you’re proof against our ‘puny weapons’? Well, I got quite a few different weapons here to try on you. Let’s go down the list ‘til I see what I have that can kill you.”
---Sargeant Kammy Sanchez, to a Deevil Horror, outside the town of New Wockeen.

The FC-50 Hexar is a fairly straighforward attempt to produce a multi-armed combat cyborg that can be deployed in large numbers with regular military units.
Compared to Paladin Steel’s previous multi-armed designs like the Tarantula, Mavellli, and Radiarc, the Hexar looks fairly pedestrian, being a heavy machine chassis fitted with an upper torso ‘horse collar’ on which are mounted six standard heavy cyborg armatures. Emphasis was on using as many ‘off the shelf’ systems as possible to cut costs, streamline logistics, and speed development. The most sophisticated systems installed in the cyborg are advanced nueral interfaces to allow the cyborg to make the most use of its additional arms. The downside of the design is that it cannot mount heavy shoulder-slung armaments like many other cyborgs, though some buyers sacrifice the utility of fully articulated hands on some of their extra arms, in favor of forearm weapons that take up the entire forearm.
The Hexar is considered something of a ‘vanilla’ chassis, in that it isn’t extensively configured with specific weapons or systems, but can be modified beyond its base form to meet the needs of the buyer. Its main selling point is its multiple arms and advanced interface, allowing the cyborg to make greater use of their greater number of appendages. Compared to other, more radical ‘borgs in the PS line-up, the Hexar virtually disappears as apparently little different from the majority of stock- and personally-customized cyborg frames that make up most of PS’s sales. However, to those looking at fine points like performance and economy, the Hexar stands out.
Logistically, the Hexar is a lot simpler to produce and maintain than other more specialized ‘borgs, which allows PS to turn them out faster. That allowed them to be deployed in numbers during the Minion Wars, when Alliance forces needed as many soldiers and heavy infantry back in the field as they could get. Many such ‘retreads’(soldiers critically injured in earlier combats with the Infernals, and taking bionic conversion as a recourse) outfitted their extra arms with as diverse an array of proven anti-supernatural weapons as they could get those extra hands on, including silver-plated vibroblades, U-round loaded machine guns, chemical sprayers filled with some rather exotic cocktails of ‘poisons’, wooden stakes, and radioactive blades. These ‘all or nothings’ proved particularly staunch holders of the line in a number of engagements with the Infernals.
The Hexar has also proven surprisingly popular with Paladin Steel Contract Engineering, the cyborgs fitting their multiple arms with various modular tools, and their torsos with diagnostic sensor kits. These ‘MegaHandimen’ are becoming a common sight at any big PSCE worksite.

Type: PS-FC-50 Hexar
Class: Full Conversion Borg - Heavy Machine
Crew: One volunteer
M.D.C. By Location:
Hands(6) 25 each
Arms(6) 100 each
Legs(2) 125 each
Feet (& Foot Pads)(2) 45 each
*Head 100
**Main Body 295
*Destroying the head of a Cyborg will kill the character!
However, the head is a small and difficult target to hit. The attacker
must make a called shot and even then he is -3 to strike. The hands, and
forearms are also difficult targets to hit and are -4 to strike on a called shot.
**Depleting the M.D.C. of the main body will effectively
destroy the artificial body, but emergency systems will keep the brain and
vital organs alive for 36 hours. Recovery of the severely damaged body
will enable doctors to place the character on life support systems that
will keep him alive until a new bionic body (same style or other) is
available, for full conversion. Failure to find the damaged Borg within 36
hours means the character dies.

Note: The Hexar CAN be fitted with additional armor, and can carry up to HEAVY Cyborg Armor

Speed:
Running: 100 mph max . However the act of running does
not tire the operator out and the maximum speed can be maintained
indefinitely.
Jumping: The powerful robotic legs are strong and capable
of leaping 10 feet high or 18 ft lengthwise. A running leap adds 50% to
distance/height.
Flying: Not possible without a jet pack
Underwater: The Hexar CANNOT swim, but sinks like a rock

Statistical Data:
Average Height: 8 feet
Width: 3.6 feet at shoulders
Length: 2 feet
Weight: 1,200 lbs.
Power System: Nuclear
Physical Attributes: Equal to Robotic PS. 35, PP. 24,.
Bonuses: Standard cyborg bonuses of +3 save vs magic, impervious to
bio-manipulation
+2 APM
+4 initiative
+6 strike
+8 parry
+6 dodge
+3 Pull Punch
W.P. Paired Weapons
Penalties: Touch/tactile sense is 60% of human norm.
Prowl penalty: -20%

Special Skills/Training---Use standard 'Borg or Headhunter OCC.
Black Market Cost: 7 million credits with all standard features, weapons, and sensors.

Standard Bionic Features
Note: These features are all found in the bionic and
cybernetic section of the Rifts RPG.
1. Bionic lung with gas filter & storage cell
2. Built-in language translator
3. Built-in radio receiver & transmitter
4. Clock calendar
5. Gyro-compass
6. Modulated voice synthesizer
7. Multi-optic eyes
8. Built-in loudspeaker
9. Universal headjack with amplified hearing and sound filtration systems.

Special Features:

*Hardened Circuits---A feature growing to be standard in Paladin Steel-made combat cyborgs. Shields the ‘borg’s systems against EMP and other electrical-disruption attacks.

*Ambidexterity Boost--- If the character doesn’t already possess the Ambidexterity advantage, a combination of neural interface boosting and gene-therapy gives the cyborg the ability to use all their hands with equal proficiency. +1 APM, +1 parry, and automatically gets W.P. Paired Weapons(reflected in Bonus stats).

*Multiple Arms---The Hexar possesses no less than six arms, two under the ribcage level, and two more above the shoulders(these are double-jointed to swivel to the back). +1 APM, +1 srike, +2 parry.

Weapons Systems:
1) Forearm Blasters(6)---Each of the six arms can be fitted with a standard cyborg forearm blaster. In the alternative, the entire hand and forearm assembly can be replaced with a more powerful weapon(typically increase damage and range by 50% for these sorts of installation).

2)Torso-Mount Blaster(1)---Mounted in the central torso, below the oversized ‘collarbone’, is a single Japanese-style chest blaster, with a choice of laser, ion, or particle beam blaster installed
Range:(Laser) 800 ft
(Ion)700 ft
(Plasma) 500 ft
(Particle Beam) 300 ft
Damage:(Laser) 3d6 MD single shot
(Ion) 2d6 MD single shot
(Plasma)5d6 MD per blast
(Particle Beam) 6d6 MD per shot
Rate of Fire: (All) ECHH
Payload:(All) Effectively unlimited, linked to the cyborg’s powerplant.
Cost: (Laser) 24,000 credits
(Ion) 7,000 credits
(Plasma)16,000 credits
(Particle Beam) 65,000 credits
Options: (Laser)*Blue-Green Frequency Kit---This modifies the pistol to fire more effectively underwater, down to 1,000 ft. Cost: 6,000 credits

*Flash-Blinder---This adds a special power-stepdown chip to the weapon’s power regulation/draw system, and a scattering optic to the barrel. allowing the weapon to produce blinding flashes of light that can temporarily blind those with unprotected optics/eyes. Effects are roughly equal to a Blinding Flash spell.
Cost: 4,000 credits

*Fan-Scatter-Laser Kit---This conversion adds what looks like a large perforated hemisphere to the end of the muzzle. In reality, it is a beam-splitter that converts the projector into a short ranged ‘fan laser’, doing 1d6 MD to an 10 ft-wide area, at about 300 ft range, with a single shot, and 3d6 MD to a 12 ft area with a burst shot.
Sometimes called a ‘paint stripper’. Cost: 5,000 credits

(Ion)*Ion Scatter-Shot Module---This is a barrel clip-on that turns the weapon into a short range shotgun with an area of effect blast. Reduce range to 200 ft, but does 3d6 MD to a 12 ft wide area. Cost: 4,000 credits

*Ion Step-Down Module---This barrel attachment, rather than increase range or power, actually ‘steps down’ the power of ion bolts into the SDC range, and modulates their effect, making the weapon in effect a ‘super-taser’(albeit it with flash-burns). An added power regulation chip allows the weapon to use less power in SDC mode. Switching between MD/SDC modes takes 2 actions. Popular with urban security and police units.
Range:(SDC shots) 600 ft
Damage: 2d6 SDC shock-burn. Plus, victims must make a save of 14 or better, or be -8 to strike, parry, and dodge for 2d6 melees. A savings throw versus non-lethal poison means the person is unimpaired. 25% chance of knocking out unshielded cybernetics for 1d4 melees.
Cost: 4,000 credits

*Series 2098 damage enhancement
Range: Unaffected
Damage: On a Natural 20(Critical Strike) the ion weapon does TRIPLE damage instead of the normal double damage
Payload: Unaffected
Cost: Increase cost of the weapon by 50%

(Plasma)*Scatter-Fire---This modifies the muzzle plasma ejector mechanism to fire a dozen or so smaller plasma bolts at shorter range and with less individual damage, but with a scatter effect like a shotgun---ideal for clearing out rooms and compartments.
Reduce range by 1/3, and mini-plasma bolts do 2d4 MD each, but now covers a 30-degree arc(or rougly 15 ft wide area)
Cost: +4,000 credits

*Plasma Bolt-exploder----Rather than a single plasma bolt, this mod supercharges the outgoing shot into a sort of freeform plasma ‘grenade’ whose cohesion deteriorates faster, resulting in shorter range, but which explodes with greater area of effect and intensity.
Reduce range by HALF, but the bolt now does 1d6x10+4 MD and explodes in a 5 ft blast radius.
Cost: +5,000 credits

(Particle Beam)*Series-113 Upgrade
Effects: On a Natural 19-20, a particle beam strike does DOUBLE damage.
Cost: 78,000 credits

*Advanced Neutron Weapon Enhancement---This experimental weapon has become very popular in the rush to field weapons capable of harming the Infernals.
Range: Unaffected
Damage: 3d6 MD single shot
(Special)ANWeps do cumulative irradiation damage proportionate to their actual blast damage; for every 2 points of PBP damage done, the regenerative abilities ‘superhealers’ are negated for 1 minute(round down). During that duration, supernatural, superhuman, and magical healing CANNOT be effectively performed. Even psionic abilities like Healing Touch and Bio-Regeneration(Self) and (Super) are HALF as effective.
Note that the damage applies only wounds inflicted by the PBP strikes; other damage may be healed as normal, but the particle beam wounds will continue to bleed, gape open, and cause problems.
Rate of Fire: ECHH
Payload: Effectively unlimited
Cost: 81,000 credits

Hand to Hand Combat
Restrained Punch 1d4 MD
Full Strength Punch 1d6 MD
Power Punch( 2 attacks) 3d4 MD
Kick 1d6 MD
Leap Kick(2 Attacks) 2d6 MD
Judo-Style Throw/Flip 1d4 MD
Body Block/Ram: (2 attacks) 1d6 MD

Options:
The Hexar can be fitted with any of the standard cybernetic and bionic features in the Rifts books. Favorite options include fitting the 'borg with sensory add-ons, mobility aides like jet nodes or jump rods, or max out on additional attacks by adding a tail.
Another popular mod is to house the brain entirely inside the torso, taking advantage of the extra armor ‘belt’ provided by the built-up ‘collarbone’ or ‘yoke’. This often includes giving the head a full 360-degree rotation ability, so the Hexar can fight with equal proficiency at its back, as at its front. Also, the added space in the head is often filled with the addition of extra sensors or a blaster mounted in the forehead.

Oy.....Mutant squirrel with Bio-armor? Lightning Reflexes? Wingless Flight?
Working in an energy blast might be a little more difficult under the HU rules...may have to bend 'im a tad(one 90-degree bend comin' up---#CRUNCH!# ...owie....)
It CAN be done!

Now use an 80mm massdriver to launch'em at the enemy(Starship Troopers used a launcher to fire the Mobile Infantry free of their ships, so there's precedence). Their amped physiologies should handle the acceleration.

That what you were afraid of?

Ouch...I have a RCC I've been working on called a 'Stitcher', which is a(most are) benevolent zombie-type made up of pieces of human beings stitched together ragdoll-style...they're sort of gestaltic beings in terms of physical abilities and skills, and possess excellent regeneration abilities. They're meant for DeadReign, but if they came over into Rifts...well, I'll have to see the description for the Palladium Stitchers; there could be some confusion.

PS HLUR-03 ‘Atlas’ Heavy Labor Utility Robot
(aka ‘Atlas Arm-Strong’, ‘Boxer’, ‘Hurler’, ‘Hurl’ )

“Somebody care to explain how THIS happened?!”
Captain Adrianne Velazquez glared around at the assembled crew of the GNEMSS Mystic River, as they stood in one of the cargo bays of the merchant starship. Around them were sealed and wrapped transparisteel caskets of various sizes, each holding the floating form of some large livestock animal, sleeping in induced comas, suspended in artifical amiotic fluids. The exception was a smaller case that had been pulled out to the center of one of the cargo bay aisles. Within the cabinet-sized case a nude human form floated, insensate to the world and the commotion around her.
“Supercargo Loy’tens was doing a midflight inspection of our sleeping cargo when he found THIS tucked in amongst our live cargo! Now, before I start accusing people of trying to run a slave-smuggling ring behind my back, I’ll give you people a chance to ‘fess up!”
Puzzled looks passed down the line of crew.
“Oh splug-spit.....” the ship’s purser moaned, “I thought the gint was -kidding-”
All eyes shot to the man. The insuing silence DEMANDED explanation from the fidgeting man.
“I was taking my leave time in the local philosophy gardens when I ran into one of the local mezzis, you know, the local aristocracy, who I recognized as one of our local trade contacts, and we got to talking and drinking and the next he invites me to his place, nice opulent place on the edge of town and we get to some SERIOUS talking and drinking and we start talking about chess and chess-like games...you know their game of caliphate-chess is almost EXACTLY like High Chess....and we start playing, making small wagers on the outcome. And somewhere along the line, when we’re both rather buzzed and talking about how chess evolved as a war game, real life and death stuff you know, the mezzi up and makes me a bet over the servent girl waiting on us...I win, she’s mine, spoils of war, I lose, she gets tossed in the moat with the ‘gators. I figure he’s drunk and not serious, even when the two chopper-waving goons show up and grab her, ready to throw her over the wall. So we play, I win, he congratulates me, excellent game, the goons put their swords away and take the girl off back to the house and he calls me a taxi to get me back to my ship because he knows we’re leaving the next day.
Anyways, I got back to the ship and got over my hangover, I thought the whole thing was a drunken joke to add more suspense to our game, hahaha.”
Captain Velazquez looked at the embarrassed junior officer.
“Well, the shipping codes on the case register the contents as ‘livestock’ and the destination registered to this ship and the ultimate recipient is your name, Mister Tarmon, so I’d sayyour mezzi-friend WASN’T joking. She was slipped into the load-line late last night before we left and got through the box-code check and the bio-scan as clean. And since I know both of your predilection for chess and your lack of maliciousness when it comes to personal liberties, I’ll not open up your skull with a fire axe for slave-trafficking. But you ARE now responsible for her once the good ship’s doctor decants her! Up until she either requests a return to her homeworld or is granted asylum, whichever works out!”
The Captain turned back towards the rest of the crew; “I WARNED everybody going offship for shoreleave about the different customs there! Especially the chattel-slavery angle and the casual human rights laws! Could have been any other of you who wound up with a slave on their hands or AS a slave in somebody else’s hands! I expect you people to exercise some COMMONSENSE!”
“And Mister L’gens! YOU were in charge of overseeing the loading, were you not?” The Captain singled out the small Q’uratigo standing in front of the half-dozen hulking Atlas roboloaders standing at the end of the aisle, “It doesn’t matter if we WERE dealing with a reputable dealer in a secure port. I spent enough time with loader drones to know THEY can’t spot anything suspicious, so YOU have to when taking on cargo! You should have been eyeballing EVERY cargo box as it came aboard!!! That should have been spotted and brought to my attention IMMEDIATELY! It could have been something FAR WORSE somebody was trying to sneak aboard, and a possible danger to THIS SHIP! I expect you from now on to upgrade the security programming on your ’bots on a regular basis and to PERSONALLY oversee and INSPECT cargo intake! Your’re supposed to be SMARTER than your drones!!! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR???!!”

The HLUR-03 is a basic heavy labor utility robot drone produced by Paladin Steel and used extensively both domestically and marketed abroad.
‘Boxy’ doesn’t begin to describe the brute angular design of the HLUR-03; its torso is almost cubic in shape, its head shoebox-shaped, its massive arms rectangular and reaching all the way to the floor, while its legs are thick and heavy(and can split at the hip to form a four-legged stand for bracing under heavy loads). The HLUR-03 is built tough for loading cargoes in a variety of environments and survive rough-and-tumble accidents on the loading docks. It can be fitted with a variety of powerpacks from replaceable fuel cells and batteries to micro-nuclear powerpacks. Its manipulator hands aren’t very dexterous, but can get a good secure grip on a variety of materials.
The HLUR-03 also isn’t terribly bright; it’s your basic rote-routine work-bot, just aware enough of its surroundings to avoid most trouble, but unable to cope with anything falling outside the parameters of its limited situational response repetoire. If facing something that blatantly impinges on its programmed behavioral responses, the ‘bot is most likely to simply stop and call for supervision, rather than try to figure out the problem on its own.
HLUR-03s are too slow to make effective combat units in all but the most desperate and adhoc manner, but they ARE, as mentioned earlier, heavily reinforced and constructed to take considerable punishment, both from hostile working environments and falling heavy loads. They’re priced competitively with Northern Gun’s NG-W10s, so sales are brisk and the HLUR-03s fairly common.

Now that If you have "Chaos Earth Resurrection".
'Witch' section of Hanger 18B is working on Mis-using Scrap Zombies and other Black Obelisk tech?
Are still thinking?

How cute do think the "Walking Nightmare" is?
I hate it when my mind wonders,
Because I have no idea what it will bring back with it.

Anybody with an ounce of psychic power's(which most Technowizards have) going to see that BO tech is EVIL.
I haven't studied it in detail yet to see if the corrupt material can be re-corrupted towards more benign applications, but anybody with commonsense who absolutely MUST study it should do it at a remote site with multiple safeguards and several WMD containment measures. I'd think you'd have to have a unique OCC like a heavily-shielded good-aligned Necromancer or bio-mod with anti-magic/corruption abilities to safely handle the stuff.

And Walking Nightmares are like boschala and shoggoth; variegated screaming heaps of madness...

"Weeper Zombies" are still a little human or could be read strong willed zombies. If removed from Black Obelisk's transmitting zone, might awaken or be aided to "wake up". Scrap Zombies are controlled or programmed for a task. "Emotional Quirks Table" text on pages 42-43 talks about being programmed. Story text in front of book, tells of Necromancers using their Zombies to helping the NEMA. Could a Computer Hacker/Programmer help Necromancers control take over Chaos and Scrap Zombies? Outside of Transmitte Zone.

ChaiChuk UET-03/CCMBT-03 ‘Unish’ Main Battle Tank

“Those old-style crawler tanks the ‘chuks use may look stodgy in comparison to the modern hovertanks and landcruisers we’re more used to, but don’t sell them short. They may be slow, but the ‘chuks were fighting fast-movers with them even before we made contact with them. True, they tended to trade them at a rate of three or more for one of the xenos, but the fact that they were able to take down ANY enemy units, let alone drive off xeno incursions, with something that looks like it came from between the old Global Wars on Earth, is pretty impressive. The ChaiChuk crews tend to fight their crawlers well and bravely. Give them decent weapons and sensors, and some smoother-working turret systems, and if they can mutually support each other, they can be a real threat on the battlefield.”

Designated the ‘CCMBT-03’ by Earthborn observers, the Unish is the main battle tank of the Umberiish Empire, but can be taken as representative of the MBT military vehicles prevalent on the ChaiChuk homeworld. The original tank was fairly sturdy, even by Megadamage-technology standards, and has been upgraded through trade contacts with Rifts Earth and other cultures. As ChaiChuk soldiers have begun appearing on other worlds, the type is likely to be encountered offworld as well.
In both size and general configuration, the CCMBT-03 reminds many Earthborn of the pre-Rifts Russian T-28 Medium Tank, a clunky and ineffective holdover from experiments in multiple-turret tanks. However, the CCMBT-03 is a much more refined vehicle, with a rounded main turret more reminescent of later Soviet MBTs, and better armor sloping for improved deflection. The treads are also wider, the suspension more refined, and the vehicle overall better performing. The original Unishes were powered by liquid-fueled gas turbines, but later model-variants have experimented with high-efficiency ionic batteries, fuel cells, and even imported micro-pack nuclear powerplants.
Whereas the T-28 suffered from the same problems as previous multi-turreted tanks in coordinating fire between the different weapons stations, the CCMBT-03 has had no such difficulties, as the group-oriented ChaiChuks are naturally better at working with each other. Their smaller stature also means that the CCMBT-03 is actually roomier for them.
The original Unishes were built using titanium armor(the metal being quite abundant on SerChai) and were quite resilient, especially in fighting the alien invaders that frequently raided the ChaiChuk homeworld. If the tanks could get to the incursion sites fast enough, they could prove a hard nut for the enemy to crack, giving them the difficult choice of either dealing with the inexorably advancing tanks, or face punishing tube and rocket artillery that the ChaiChuk militaries would be bringing up. The Unish thus became a natural first-pick of a natively-produced vehicle to be upgraded with technologies acquired from the Umberiish Empire’s new trade partners in Greater New England.
The Unish is being gradually replaced by faster and more modern vehicles(many of them foreign-made designs purchased or license-produced by the ChaiChuks), but the design is retained in many national guard and regional militia units, the Umberiish Empire selling or giving the upgraded model to other ChaiChuk nations. It can also be found offworld as part of the defensive garrisons of ChaiChuk lease-bases, peacekeeping forces, or relief operations. Examples and variants are occasionally sold or distributed offworld by Paladin Steel(hence its posting here).

Type: UET-03/CCMBT-03 Unish
Class: Main Battle Tank
Crew: 7
Note: The Unish is configured for beings with an average height of 3.5 ft(4 ft at tallest), so larger beings will find trying to operate the Unish painfully difficult(-15% to skill rolls) if not impossible, and even riding inside the tank grossly uncomfortable.

Systems of Note:
Standard Robot Systems
Weapons Systems:
1) Turret-Mounted Main Gun---Originally, the Unish carried a howitzer, roughly equal to a 76mm gun, in the main turret. The ChaiChuks quickly replaced the weapon with a dual-purpose breech-loaded mortar system, but also added the ability to fire rocket-shells. This kept the 76-80mm weapon viable at a stage of technological development when Terran AFV designers were looking at 105mm and 150mm cannons as MBT main armaments. Infusions of offworld technology have only improved this system, but also other weapons, such energy weapons, have been made available as alternate fit-outs.

(Laser) Effectively Unlimited

2) Auxiliary Turret Weapons(2)---The Unish mounts two small turrets in the front, with 270-degree arc of fire , allowing them to cover their respective sides. These turrets are typically used to deal with enemy infantry. The original configuration called for heavy machine guns, but refitted Unishes can mount a variety of other weapons as well.

Options: Like the handgun version, the vehicle-mounted version can be similarly modified for extra effect/power:
Note: It takes a person with the Weapons Engineer skill a successful roll and about 5 minutes to install and test one of the following modules, those with the Armorer/Field Armorer skill about 10 minutes, and someone following the printed instructions about 30-45 minutes to install/swap modules.

*Ion Scatter-Shot Module---This is a barrel clip-on that turns the PSIP-2 into a short range shotgun with an area of effect blast. Reduce range to 400 ft, but does 4d6 MD to a 10 ft wide area. Cost: 5,000 credits

*Ion Booster Module---Another barrel attachment that boosts the range of the ion bolts, albeit with a small reduction in damage capability. Reduce damage to 3d6 MD, but boost range to 1,500 ft. Cost: 7,000 credits

*Ion Focal Booster Module---Aka ‘Puncher’---This barrel attachment improves the focus of the ion pulse density, improving damage at the cost of range. Reduce range to 400 ft, but up damage to 5d6 MD per shot. Cost: 5,000 credits.

*Laser Sight Module---Another underbarrel attachment, this consists of an improved laser sight that adds a bonus to strike, but the laser also creates a temporary ‘guidepath’ of disturbed/ionized air that slightly improves the striking power of the ion bolts. +2 to Strike, and +3 to damage per bolt. This can be used in conjunction with the other barrel attachments, but added damage is reduced to +2 MD. Cost: 1,000 credits

CAN be used in conjunction with the the Laser Sight Module. Switching between MD/SDC modes takes 2 actions. Popular with urban security and police units.
Range:(SDC shots) 600 ft
Damage: 1d6 SDC shock-burn. Plus, victims must make a save of 14 or better, or be -8 to strike, parry, and dodge for 2d6 melees. A savings throw versus non-lethal poison means the person is unimpaired. 25% chance of knocking out unshielded cybernetics for 1d4 melees.
Payload: One MD shot equals 10 SDC shots
Cost: 4,000 credits

k)Plasma Projector---Modified ‘Genta’ plasma rifle
Range: 1,300 ft
Damage: 5d6 MD per shot
Rate of Fire: ECHH
Payload: 100 shot battery for fuel cell models, effectively unlimited for nuclear-powered models. Can also use a back-up e-clip system; 10 shots standard e-clip, 18 shots long e-clip.
Cost: 18,000 Credits
Options:
*’Blow-Torch’ Mode---Not as refined or powerful as the ‘scattershot’ modification available to other PS plasma weapons, this add-on to the muzzle disperses the plasma somewhat to produce a fan-shaped ‘blowtorch’ that does less damage, but to a wider area. Does 4d6 MD to a 3 ft wide area, range drops to 500 ft. Cost: 3,000 credits

*“Hot Shotting”---This system augments the normal air-draw plasma re-mass system with deuterium-gas injected into the plasma flow for a cleaner, hotter, more potent ‘burn’. The deuterium is stored in pressurized cylinders attached to the feeds of the gun, like a CO2 air rifle cartridge. This allows the plasma to do 50% more damage, but the weapon now has a bit of a recoil due to the more powerful plasma acting like a crude plasma drive(-1 to strike if not properly braced).
Cost: HotShot modding on the Genta costs +8,000 credits, and a recharged cylinder of refined d-gas costs 500 credits(300 credits if the user can return a depleted gas cylinder at the time of purchase) and is good for 20 shots.

3) Cupola-Mount Weapon(1)---The Unish mounts a cupola-mount light weapon, typically a machine gun, articulated for high-angle air defense, but also covering the rear arc of the tank. Like the other weapons on the Unish, the cupola weapon is modular and can be swapped out for a variety of other types, such as automatic grenade launchers and energy rifles. It can be manually operated or fired via remote control from inside the tank cupola.

Options:
*Smoke/Grenade Launcher Clusters--- These mini-multi-tube grenade/smoke launcher clusters can be added to the turret. Up to 4 can be added.
Range: 1,200 ft
Damage: Varies by Grenade Type
Rate of Fire: Volleys of 1-3
Payload: Each launcher has 12 30mm grenades or smoke shells. Northern Gun-style chaff clusters can also be used.
Cost: 2,000 credits per launcher

*External Antipersonnel Flechette Packs----An effort to further protect the slow moving tank against faster power armor and infantry, this system consists of a series of directional ‘claymore’-style fragmentation grenades attached to the outer hull and triggred either by command or by motion detector trip to fill a ‘kill zone’ around the tank with lethal shrapnel and anti-personnel flechettes.
Range: 100 ft
Damage: 5d6 MD to a cone swath roughly 50 ft long, by 10 ft wide.
Used as reactive armor against plasma and armor-piercing missiles, the computerized firing system acts as a PARRY, rolling to match or better the missile’s strike roll...a successful counter means that the missile damage is HALVED, while a failure means the tank takes full damage. Note: when dealing with volleys, one reactive armor pack can match TWO missiles in a volley, so in order to effectively counter a five missile volley, the tank must expend 3 reactive armor packs...two packs would roll twice to defeat their respective missiles, the third would only roll once. If the enemy missile launcher has a line of sight on the tank, they can target a spot on the hull which has no packs covering it (a called shot), in which case the remaining reactive armor is -4 to cover the gap.
Rate of Fire: One at a time or can be simultaneously fired in volleys of 1-10
Payload: Each side of the tank(sides, front, back) has 6 fletchette packs each(24 total), the turret has 4 each side, three on top(11 total)
Cost: 300 credits per charge.

*Additional Armor. Applique MDC armor can be added:
Light: +80 MDC main body. Cost: 160,000 credits
Medium:+150 MDC main body. Cost: 280,000 credits
Heavy: +200 MDC main body. Cost: 360,000 credits

*Thermal Resistant Heat-Refractory Tile Armor(Option)---Special heat-resistant materials designed originally for reentry vehicle shielding. Heat and plasma-based attacks do 1/4 damage
Cost: 1 million credits

*Chemically Inert Body Armor---Covers the tank in the same jet-black, chemically-inert material as used by the Toxic Avenger Hazmat Cyborg. This material is slicker than Teflon, and resists chemical corrosion as well as adhesives. Paint, glue, and other chemicals simply refuse to stick to this stuff, and corrsoive chemicals just slide off, doing NO damage.
Cost: 1 million credits

*Advanced Radiation Shielding---The vehicle can be heavily insulated against radiation, such as fallout and neutron weapons.
Cost: 1 million credits

* Flail Mounting---Inspired by the old WWII Scorpion “Flail Tanks”, this option mounts a long roller-supported assembly on the front of the tank, with a rapidly rotating drum on the end, to which are attached dozens of lengths of high-strength chain. The theory goes that by advancing behind the flailing chains, the tank can safely detonate mines at a standoff distance, triggering them prematurely with the ground-hammering chains. In practice, though, this worked only against the simplest of mines, and the device was easily defeated by time delay fuzes, greater blast radius explosives, and ‘smart’ mines like the Wellington SAW, which could attack targets from the side and from a distance. Most of the flail packages sold by PS ended up being used to clear brush or in riot control. It had some some success against infantry, but as the tank is made rather slow and cumbersome by pushing the flail assembly, it’s easily avoided.
MDC of Assembly:80
Size: The flail assemby adds ten feet to the length of the tank
Range: 8 ft range
Damage: 1d6 MD per chain strike(Roll 1d6 to determine number of chains hitting)
Penalties: Reduce speed of tank by 20%, and -10% to Pilot Tank skill
Cost: 20,000 credits

*Mine Rollers/Plows---Mine rollers and plows are simply heavily reinforced(100-200 MDC) modifications of road and farm equipment designed to be pushed ahead of the vehicle into a suspected minefield. Rollers detonate pressure-contact mines by their greater ground pressure, ideally before the vehicle itself passes over them. Plows work to unearth explosives and push them to the side where they explode with less effectiveness, or else can be more easily detonated by other means. A Mine Roller or Plow assembly typically costs 10,000-30,000 credits, and reduces the vehicle’s speed by 25%

*Hedgerow Cutters---Because tanks frequently have problems getting through undergowth, the bow plate can be fitted with an array of sharp-tined plowshare-like blades, with several vibroblades mounted among them. It also makes the tank look fierce as hell.
Damage: 4d6 MD
Cost: 30,000 credits

*Bulldozer Blade---A bulldozer blade can be mounted on the front, with enough hydraulics to raise and lower the blade. Dozer blade has 80 MDC.
Cost: 15,000 credits

*Grousers---Grousers are simply track extensions that widen the treads(by 2-3x) and allow the treadlayer to reduce its ground pressure and better traverse soft surfaces such as mud and snow, and reduce penalties for travelling over such surfaces by HALF. Cost: 8,000 credits per set of treads.

Variants:
*CCAPC-03----This is the basic Unish, with the main turret removed, and a troop compartment(with space for 8 ChaiChuk soldiers) in its place. The major complaint about the CCAPC-03 is the lack of a proper ground-level troop embarkment ramp or hatch; troops must either squeeze out a small access way past the remounted engine in the rear, or scramble through hull-top hatches and over the treads.

*CCACC-03----Armored Command Carrier variant; strips out the main gun to make room in the main turret for a command/communications desk. The CCACC mounts extra communications gear and countermeasures equipment.

*CCUV-03---This is simply the chassis of the Unish, stripped of its upper works and armament, and used as the basis of a variety of different vehicles, including artillery tractors, combat engineering vehicles, and general movers. This is the variant most likely to be found for sale off-world, at 50% the price of an armed version.

*CCMBT-03PS---A Paladin Steel-modified version of the Unish, produced after former Iron Heart Armaments ex-patriates consulted with ChaiChuk engineers. The variant most prominently features lower hull missile launchers patterned on (if not taken directly from) the old IHA Iron Fist and Iron Maiden AFVs(50 MDC each and holding 24 mini-missiles or 5 medium range missiles in each).
The CCMBT-03PS can also mount PSAKM-80 dual autoshotgun/lasers in the auxiliary turrets.

Haven't read that far, but yeah, thanks...that has possibilities. In the Shemarrian setting, I can see the Lost Eclipse and other Tribes using advanced jamming technology to free them, if possible, mercy-killing them if they can't. Then maybe offering to transfer them to better bodies, or, if they can't, into ranks of a Tribe like the Lost Eclipseor the Shadowblades or a fringe tribe of their own, where looks and nature (like being a vampire robot) doesn't really matter.
The GNE might be a little more strict; necromancy's one of the mandated no-nos that can get you(ironically) the death penalty(necro-magic can only be practiced under strict supervision of the authorities for forensics purposes, for example). At best, an awakened techno-zombie might be treated legally like an ex-Splugorth Bio-borg, a horribly-mutilated VICTIM with efforts made to rehab them, curb any psychological problems, and fit them into being productive members of society(even if that society is an out-dimensional exile colony/outpost). Those who turn lethal again are subject to the same laws as cyborgs or monsters that run rogue; they get taken down HARD by the heavily-armed authorities.
Of course, with regards to procedure, the saying 'shoot first, shoot often, interrogate the remains' might take on new meaning with regards to turned zombies(and vampires) and again, irony if a sanctioned necromancer questions a (again) dead technozombie on the 'why and who'.

Hmmm...Possibly an idea of an NPC 'Weeper' surviving thru the Dark Ages, having regained his/her/its sentience, and hiding out as a hermit or wise madman(sheltered perhaps by Lazlo scholars). The character's seen and been through a lot, but has retained some form of sanity(much as they may hate it), and despite hating the curse of their unnatural existence, has found a form of equilibrium or some cause to keep going on. The character has the wisdom of ages, mainly of a cautionary type, but 'lives' in dread fear of being taken over by the Transmission ever again, or by necromancers in general, and goes to great lengths to protect self from such(surrounds self and properties with wards, invests in jamming systems, is on top of any available countermeasure or magic-shielding techniques.
The zombie NPC is also afraid of being mistaken as some of the undead liches and demons, and so tends to disguise his/her/its undead appearance. Would make for a very strange, and tragic, high-level NPC.

Just re-read Neal Asher's 'Spatterjay' trilogy, where one of the mods of transhumanism is 'reification', where people have their dead bodies preserved via Juicer-style chemical systems(that infuse their bodies with embalming chemicals) augmented with cybernetic articulation, and their copied personas running their animated dead bodies from a crystal AI system in their bodies. Originally, some worlds in the Human Polity resurrected murder victims in this fashion and sent the 'reifs' after their murderers, but some folks adopt the practice as a matter of hanging onto their biological humanity after death, rather than download into a robot body or other post-human form. On some planets the practice has an almost religious following, with names like the Order of Anubis. The idea of a Rifts version therefore intrigues.

I was "sickly" thinking about mixing the "Weeper" as a 'Remote Emergency Respect' system. Dropping kit at scene of accident, have drone use TW means to raise the victims. Mix with gear from the kit or location.
Then start going home for full recovery.
Begin repairs and clean-up at site.
Mix their bodies with vehicle(s) to move away quickly or start fighting back till real forces arrive.
Make a 'Haunted' vehicle come alive.
As "After Life" system in a spacesuit or ship.
...for a start
I hate it when my mind wonders,
Because I have no idea what it will bring back with it.
