simple concept; your opinions?
i like the idea of a character that has maybe one or two basic toughness powers normally, but can pick up strategically placed powerups that give him a major or couple minors temporarily. they wouldn't be chosen by the character, but by some outside force(essentially, the GM). opinions?

can't remember the comic but it had a group of heroes that had
temporary powers that they had to call and ask for and got thru
some special implants or something
the few books i remember reading they got powers like flight, invincability
super strength energy blasts ect but they could only have one power at a time

yeah i figured i was just razzing. (late night holiday cheer lol) The first HERO story was good and the rest are great examples really. Definitely a cool idead to play around with. And I've always wanted to do a mega man inspired game. I remember a site where a guy had a bunch of conversions and megaman was one of them. think he got shut down due to copyright infringements.

hehe, i like the enthusiasm for this.
i think the most enjoyable aspect of this, aside from the variety of abilities that come with it, would be the inventiveness that both the player and the gm would develop.

yeah this game would allow a lot of collaberation between gm and player and that can be a beautifull thing.

like a juiced up juicer?
in the sence of augmentation yes. the would be hero just needs an outside source to gain abilities and they would be temporary, and i wouldn't kill the user...or maybe i would. i kinda like that idea...price of power?
