I had that problem myself about a year ago so i stuck each page into a clear plastic sleeve for a three ring binder and then tabbed the different section. But seeing how his is signed you might want to take it to a local binder (look in the yellow pages). I dought it cost to much to have it re bound.

Is it the Revised HU with the predominantly white cover or is it the Revised HU with the predominantly blue cover?

Could have just been a bad binding job on that particular book or your friend or whoever has been reading it, has been bending the covers all the way back, etc...

I've had the same problem. Just pages 3-6 though.

A couple of my friends have this problem, though with different books, and it's clearly because of how they treat the books. My copies of RMB and WB1 came from them and aside from the covers being a little messed up they're still useable.

binding has not been an issue with my any of my books, but i'm probably a little too carefull with my books at times. My problem has been humidity warping the crap out of my covers!!! Its only bad with a few like my Nightspawn book and few others that were printed around that time. And living in SW Missouri humidity is a huge problem.
