Relation between Hades (Greek god) and Hades the realm?

I'm reading the Hades Dimension Book right now, and it seems like it kind of threw away the canon of Hades, brother of Zeus.

According to CB2, Hades the god has a kingdom which contains the Interdimensional Prison of Tartarus.

Hades the realm has a continent named Tartarus.

Yet given there is no mention of Hades the god in Hades the book, these are clearly not the same place. Is there any viable overlap between them?

depending on your point of view... they still could be, the same, IE Hades the realm IS the kingdom of Hades the god, they just didn't mention the supreme overlord of the realm.

The writer of the Hades book was creating a realm that has no relation to the deity (nor realm) of same name mentioned in the rifts pantheons book (and from Greek mythology.) Other than they have the same name(s).

The idea presented by guardiandashi is from parking lot beyond far right field. Sounding like he didn't even look at the books before answering. The hades book having detailed the rulers of the different parts of the Demon Realm Hades.
