Reference p52 of Rifts: England.

The Earth Child doesn't get any new powers. Some of his starting ones improve though:
-- Stone form gets 40 MDC per level.
-- Sense water is 10 miles per level.
-- Repel animals is 40ft +10ft per level.
-- ISP increases by 1D6+1. (Note - PPE stays fixed.)
Some gave all.

It's the player the determines whether an OCC/RCC is crappy or not.

I had a SAMAS pilot in a group years ago who turned out to be a dormant Earth Child - he was awesome.

All they get at each new level is: Increase Creamy Filling by 5%.

Rather crappy RCC in my opinion. :-?

Ok. This just came to me. Heroes unlimited Alien power category.
Mineral Alien. Aquatic world. EarthChild. Mega hero. Weakness. Diamonds. Mega Power. Dimensional Teleport.
A Brick that gets bigger and Stronger. Can harm supernatural creatures. And can hop between Heroes Unlimited and Rifts Earth. I shall call him Plymouth. Add mdc spandex suit. Utility belt. Some skills. And thats a pretty cool character.

I've always considered playing an Earth Child but never got a chance. They would fit in pretty well with most of my other augmented human characters. Light MD being (although as he levels up it can reach mid range), impressive healing, low supernatural strength, certain wilderness powers, a few physical psi abilities.

I wonder, does anyone have an opinion on #6 strength of the earth. I don't see a real duration listed for either the advantages or the penalties. My instinct is to simply have them either last "per encounter" ... ie when the power increases/penalties last until the character has had time to 'relax' as defined by the GM. The other thought is to apply the 4d4 minutes that the bezerker rage lasts and just apply that same time frame even if the IQ hasn't dropped to 6 or below.

Seems like a horrible combo to me, Inquisitors already have MDC protection that doesn't require making yourself a monstrous-looking rage-machine and do plenty of damage.

Earth Children are about 20% cooler than this Rifter submission you are working on.

I don't think it will get approved but I'd throw it in with Ludricrous Magic, people love that stuff.
