I Cannot wait for this book.
Carl I will have to honest hear. I'm hoping this book rocks my socks off. WHY ? It has to do with my Favorite HU2 Power Catagory is why. Enchanted Weapons. Always loved the concept and I hope the catagory is expanded somewhat and maybe a few example are given.

Are they Examples of actual weapons or an expansion on the Power Catagory itself ? Or Both ?

As Kevin is just finishing his rewrites and editing I doubt NMI knows what made the final cut, or how it ended up. NMI's clearly had a manuscript for years, and Kevin just finished working through that.

Chello!

I already have campaign ideas for this one. I'm thinking about something like Savage World's "Necessary Evil" set in Century Station, but instead of aliens, the invaders are demons and deevils. Not necessarily all villains, like in NE, but more like a co-op zone in City of Heroes where heroes and villains have to work together. Might make for some interesting games.

The more generic the setting info is, the easier it is for groups to incorperate into the own games.
The city itself never need be named. Just location districts of a city is enough.

Myself. I use a Map of Freedom City from Mutants and Masterminds for my city.
I renamed the city itself, but that map is no detailed and useful.

I am really looking forward to this book. In my Phase World Minion war campaign I had plans to add a "mystic weapon" to one player, a gift given her by Artemis to fight the Demon invasion of Center. (she plays a Wolfen Bounty Hunter and is feeling a tad underpowered next to my other players.) I had orginally just snagged a Greatest Artifact from the Swordbearer O.C.C. from Nightlands- but now with the "Enchanted Weapons of Order" these sound like just what I needed

The HU Enchanted Weapons are better than the Artifact Weapons from NB-NL for sure.
I would give The Enchanted Weapon the option of picking 1-2 powers from the Artifact Powers though. Weapon of Light or Dark Destroyer powers could be useful.

Automaticly give HU-EWs the Artifact Armor as the "Battle Dress" to help them out.

I too want too see what these new Enchanted Weapons of Order can do.
