Open Casting Call

Relating to Crucible's Emperor Prosek Casting Call, just expanding the idea. Who would be your choice for which role. As we don't know who exactly will be characters, this is open to all Rifts personalities.

Erin Tarn-Julie Christie
Emperor Karl Prosek-Fred Ward
Alistair Dunscon-Andrew Divoff
Dr. Desmond Bradford-Bernie Casey
Lord Coake-Miles O'Keefe

I'll try to add more later, but I'm about 230 miles from my reference materials.

Honestly, I would love to do something for it. Even if it was just a background cameo as a voice on a radio :D I think that would be a cool touch and I'd do it for free :D

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of "if the Rifts Movie was set in Russia, I think that X should play Koldenko, and X should play Orloff."

Now if Machinations of Doom were to be the basis of the film:

Sean William Scott should be Johnny,
Doug Jones should play Shakes,
Larry Fishburn should play Desmond Bradford,
Vin Diesel should play Krieghoff
Fred Ward should voice Bowie,
Ron Perlman should voice Bodakhan
Malcolm McDowell should voice Dr. Roddy
and for some reason, I think Johnny Depp should play Moses in an uncredited role (like Robin Williams performance in the Baron Munchausen film. The uncredited thing, not the performance.)

Dame Judy Dench could TOTALLY pull off being Erin Tarn, and she's a gamer to boot (thanks to Vin Diesel). Sean William Scott would be a good match for Johnny. Now Mercdog, when you say "Larry Fishburn", are you referencing the man who appeared on the "Pee Wee's Playhouse" and later went on to be Morpheous in the Matrix who is now more better known as Lawrence Fishburn, or someone else?

Yep, that's him. I've seen him referred to as both as Larry and Lawrence, so I'm not sure which he prefers.

Just noticed I forgot to cast Anika. At the moment I'd lean toward Michelle Rodriguez. Even though IIRC she's the wrong ethnicity, I know she can play the attitude of the Lone Star Raiders de facto leader.

I'd also like to find a cameo role for Henry Rollins (just cause I like him, and he totally rocks in Wrong Turn 2) as a Rogue Scholar being carted off by CS authorities. 8)

He prefers Lawrence, he only used Larry on PeeWee's Playhouse to try and distance himself from the show while getting paid at the same time.

And ethnicity can be pretty flexible if you have an actor or actress who can bring the essence of a character to life on screen, which I am pretty sure that Michelle Rodriguez could easily do for Anika.

I'd love to be nameless soldier #3 that gets eaten by some big bad nasty.

Judy Densch as Erin Tarn? Certainly do-able.

Betty White however, similar mojo but all-American gal. You could even play up the supposed 'racy photos' of Erin Tarn in Germany using the photos of Betty White from the 50's.

He was also credited as "Larry" on an episode of M*A*S*H
