All three are noted as occasionally going rogue, being in charge of small independent missions, or being placed in charge of small areas be week Nightlords. What are your experiences using these critters in those capacities?

Had a (Secret) Rogue Doppleganger Warlord as the Antagonist for two short campaigns, one was a "Villain""campaign the other was a "Dupes" both ended up as TPK's the Villains game was a neat total wash por the party the Dupes almost brought down the insurgency.

Almost... one campaign started out with a Ratling that was a Nightbane who had their Becoming (a giant bipedal tiger... yeah, can't miss the irony... rats, cats, and dogs ) when a unit of Hounds came through a Rift from the Astral Plane that coincided with the PC's initiation into a Ratling magical order... the Hounds were defeated and the idea would be to take on the Prince who wanted to carve out a bit of megaversal territory for themself, but the story took a very different turn as the players did their thing.
