Am I crazy/blind that I'm not finding a way to play some kind of giant/mutant spider with cybernetics?
I've looked in Heroes/Aliens and a ton of the Rifts books and can't find anything.
Help?

Re: Cybernetic Spider
Most Spiders that I can think of in Rifts books are more the adversary type. Though it depends on what you consider "giant" and "spider" in this case.
That said some ways to get this assuming you mean human-scale spider-like:
-Robot RCC (SB1) and/or Full Conversion Borg, with the right picks you could get the effect you are looking for
-DB6's Nixie RCC (WB31 also has Spider people, but they seem to shy from it)
-Major Super Power "Control Insects and Aracnids", when combined with mutant insects from "Mutants in Orbit" book could allow one to work out giant/mutant spiders (then just give them cybernetics)

Re: Cybernetic Spider
I won't lie, Mutants in Orbit confuses me.
The nixie are close but not quite. I may just use Nightbane and go from there.
My goal was some kind of biggish spider with at least a couple of its legs replaced with the Mining Borg style drills.
I didnt see the spider peeps in Triax 2.

Re: Cybernetic Spider
Could always go for a robot spider with the creation rules in Sourcebook 1.
Some gave all.

My inclination, if you have access, would be to take some of the giant spiders in Mutants Down Under, then give them human-like intelligence. If nothing else, it would provide a guideline.
