And i wonder...why no one thought to make some Lego Rifts? I really need a Lego Samas in my life right now.

If Star Gate SG-1's Replicators ever merged with Lego Systems, they'd be unstoppable, given the already impressive power of Lego! 8)

Hm... very nice. I see he even managed to get it to transform. It reminds me of the interviews Macross co-creator Shoji Kawamori when Macross Frontier was about to come out, where he showed how he'd used LEGO in the development of the VF-25 design to visualize its transformation.

Building blocks of the universe, they are. :D

Though I think more prospective engineers cut their teeth on Erector Sets.

I remember doing my own bi-modal Veritech-class one man craft with Legos as a kid. Swing-wings (IIRC, not sure about this), semi-articulated legs (it couldn't walk like a production Lego unit did form one of the space sets I had, but it did bend at the hips and knees) with highly flexible arms (used the claw-tentacle piece for each) resulting in a fighter-gaurdian combo.

i did some Rifts minifigs in an older version of lego digital designer.. sadly at the time, they used parts you couldn't buy using the program. now of course they got rid of that feature. (too many people violating copyrights)

Here is a classic lego Valkyre design I saw years ago: http://www.foundrydx.com/works.html

Edit: the site allows you to buy the instructions too, not sure if it still works, as the site is over a decade old.
