New Stuff!!!

Cryo-E Vents: Standard Bio-E Vent is mutated to release a "Negative" Bio-E Charge, opperating a reverse polarity compared to standard.. Penalties to be determined. Most likely in line with magical cold penalties. Costs 20 Bio-E. Payload of 12 shots per minute, conditionally unlimited. Standard range. overuse of Crryo-E Vent will result in BOTH standard penalties AND Cryo-E Overload. Essentially suffering as if you had been shot. Fun. :(

Pyro-E Vents: Bio-E Vents which have been enhanced to use extra energy to Hyper-Excite molecules in the air. Results in a plasmatic discharge in addition to standard Bio-E blast. Damage: standard+3d6md to 5' blast radius. payload-16 shots per minute, coonditionally unlimited. Range- standard. Cost 20 BIO-E

Plasmatic Discharge Defense: Costs 15 bio-E. Pre-Req's enhanced regen., acid blood, quick clotting, heat resist.
Highly pressurized blood contains a chemical which ignites on contact with water vapor in the air. This causes a semi-explosive reaction as this chemical rapidly and violently vaporizes at high temperatures. Due to the pressure involved in the bloodstream, combined with the expulsive nature of the vaporous chemical, minimal damage, if any, will be taken by the armor. Furthermore, the heat caused by the plasmatic discharge causes the already quick sealing blood to near-instantly cement. Range-10' Damage-3d6

More enhancements to follow when I have been released from my sleep deprived stupor. Some more Equiptmment too. And hell, I'll throw in a Warmount ta boot. I'll see if I can get some fresh blood to post up some junk too.

Since Ziggy wants it, here it is. The Retribution Gland May seem over powered at first, but cost ALOT of Bio-E to make.

Retribution Gland: This advancement of the Lazarus Gland takes regrowth to a new level. Whenever the Host Armor regenerates, this gland makes it stronger. Regeneration takes 3D6 days to grow, as the increase in the armor takes longer. After the growth period, the host armor emerges, retaining all bonuses, enhancements, and MDC. NO REDUCTIONS. In addition, the host armor gains 1D6X10 MDC to the main body, and 1D6 MDC to the rest. The Host Armor’s PS increases by 1, height is increased by 3 in, weight increases 100 lbs, and the owner will find that the armor has up to 50 Bio-E worth of enhancements that the Armor chooses, so that it will be harder to defeat the same way. For example, if an opponent destroyed the host armor with fire, the host armor will regenerate with resistance to heat. Also, the armor has the Retribution Gland until complete evaporation. After each regeneration, if this is not a host armor, there is a cumulative 1% chance that the being changes one step in alignment, from Principled->Scrupulous->Unprincipled->Anarchist->Aberrant->Miscreant->Diabolic. After one alignment step change, the chance is reset. Also, there is a cumulative 2% chance to develop insanities, usually having to do with the multiple deaths, and hatred of things that kill it.
Bio-E Cost: 100
Prerequisite: Lazarus Gland, Modified Pituitary Glandx3

I'm making this my personal thread, all others may post/add/comment as they wish, but I will post all my stuff here, as apposed to other threads that are considered (practically)dead by me. To be Added within the next three days: at LEAST 2 new bioweapons, I mecha-Kiaju, 2 new robots, One new optional RCC, one new bio-living armor, various new enhancements, one possible tide turner, and maybe a warmount. Possibly another kaiju, but that will go in the appropriate thread. Now, I do have this thing called a life, and a work schedule, but I should be able to do this. With complete write-ups too, not just the vague idea seeds I've been planting. I think a flurry of new material might brighten up the boards a little.

BTW, if we all bug Kevin about the splicers sourcebook the way Rat_Bastard goes on about Triax 2, we might get it faster. :)

I think the bio-weapons will be first, followed by the armor. Robots pending full write up. OCC in concept stages, will be expanded upon and fleshed out at a later time, like wednesday or so. Enhancements to be released as they are envisioned. Tide Turner to be released when feasable in the gameworld. like on tuesday.

It Begins.

With Concepts and Previews.

A Large robot. A small onboard interceptor, a medium flying strike unit. A blender of death. A Unique missile. Experimental designs, all of them. Two new Heavy Bio-weapons, One optimized for Waste Crawlers, Another for general Badassery. My version of Ablative Armor. Not quite true to the Ablative name, Cuz the other guys wont share theirs....
A somewhat interesting new occ that specializes in Bio-Energy. I dont have anymore enhancements yet. I have a tide turner, its what scientists might call "kinda gay", and not in a good way. I cant think of how to make it work without destroying the game.

Decimator Land Combat Vehicle
A new weapon has recently be unleashed by the machine. I don't quite care to add flavor text. If someone else would like to, go right ahead.

Stats
Power supply- Nuclear, 10 years life span
Height: 30', main body slung between legs
Width: 30'
Length: 60'
Weight: 180 tons
Horror Factor: 17

Speed:
Ground speed- 90 Mph max, cruising is 60 Mph
Leaping: can leap 20' across and 25' high from a standstill.
Water, can walk across bottom at 15 Mph

Spank- Spider Tank
Model- Unknown
Capabilities- Unknown
MDC: Approximate (forward scouts usually don't survive to relay information.)
Main Body-2600
Legs(6)- 700 each
Force Field- 1000
Main Cannon- 450
Stand-off Cannons(2)- 200 each
Mini-missile Launchers(2)- 100 each
Leg Shields(6)- 350 each
Crawler Missiles(2)- 350 each
Burrower Missiles(2)- 200 each

Weapons Systems:
Laser Cannon- what appears to be the main armament of the Spider Walker, this is mainly just to take out large warmounts that get close enough to pose a threat.
MD: 1D4X100
Range: 8,000'
Payload: Unlimited
RoF: Twice per melee

Plasma Cannons-Secondary weapons for, well, anything that gets in range.
MD: 2D6x10
Range: 4,000'
Payload Unlimited
RoF: Four times per melee each, dual shots count as one weapon

Mini-Missile Launchers(2)-For bombardment and anti-air
MD: Varies as per missile loadout
Range: one mile
Payload: 40 missiles(80 total)

Crawler Missiles(2)-These medium ranged missiles are housed in their own compartments on the sides, above the Burrowers. It is not yet known how they work, all that is known is that they do not directly target anything, and yet nothing survives their launch.
MD: None
Range: 40 miles, but often deployed at 1/10th that or less
Payload: 2, one per launcher
RoF: one at a time, or in volleys of two(rare)

Burrower Missiles-Medium range, Capabilities not fully realized. Unknown attack form, again, nothing has yet survived to give any useful info.(ie I haven't taken them past the concept stage yet, no stats) Designed to be launched at a known resistance location, the Burrower slams into the ground and burrows untill it reaches a hollow large enough for a man to stand. At this point, it releases its payload.
MD: None
Range: 40 miles
Payload: 2, one per launcher
RoF: one at a time

Let me known if I forgot something, or if there is something you would like to add.

Crawlers basically launcher to the target location, slam into the ground, and deploy "Crawlers". Little bug-like drones that Inject you with liquid metal/plague, and then explode, thus sealing the wound.
Burrowers either do the same thing underground, or do something similarly insidious. The idea is that no-body is safe. In my campaign, these robots are escorted by Land Dominators, and their escorts, to insure the demise of splicers. new robots to soon follow.

About those burrower missiles, how about something like either a flesh-eating or plasma-based nano-bot swarm. Basically a weapon that forces people to go running out of these tunnels, or die. But when they get outside, they run into the big guy.

Ahh, the smell of freshly Resurrected Topic in the middle of the night. Now that my ridonculously busy and tedious life has become less of each, I can finally get back to all this stuff. If I didn't have to work in the morning I'd start pounding it out now, but my pounding will likely begin after 7 pm tomorrow EST. One heavy bio-weapon designed for long term field use, one heavy bioweapon designed for badassery. That armor I promised, if I can ever finish it, that is likewise designed for long term use. should be ready soon.

Will restart work on the escort robots I designed. time till complete, unknown, more input required.

Bea-Tee-Dubz, what does everyone think of my decimator, I still need to do some fleshing out, and some fluff. Need input.

edit*
I have some new enhancements rolling around, involving Quills, Poison, and Slime. Maybe some Acid. Just remembered my character concept for an OCC too. I'll only be doing one thing at a time tho.

New stuff

Unread post by Ziggurat the Eternal »

Infantry Casting Rifle
AKA Pop Rocks, named because of the sound they make when fired, and on impact.

Not much fluff here, just a long term weapon designed to last during heavy field use. Can be fed in the field, usually tripod mounted or slung at waist height by host armors. Rather heavy design, but has high utility.
Capable of replenishing half its capacity of ammunition in just 20-40 minutes, it is one of the faster eloading heavy weapons available. Just one problem, you have to reload it. It doesn't regenerate a payload, it eats, craps, and then fires said fecal matter. One pound of rock or dirts generally generates two rounds, and feeding it 60 pounds of rock will reload the weapon with 120 shots, it can only hold and process 60 lb of dirt at a time. this process goes much slower if you have to shovel dirt in, as most splicers don't carry shovels, this reducing the feed load to one handful at a time. Not a bad weapon though, could use some feedback.

MD- 3d8+3 on a single accurate shot(+2 strike), 1d8x10+10 on a three shot burst.
Max Effective Range- 4000'
Rate of Fire- Single or three round burst.
Payload- 240 single shots, or 80 triple shot bursts.
Weight-40lb recoil is not much of an issue, hauling it around when it has a full belly is.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Infantry Grenade Launcher
AKA Screaming Reign, Named by the noise, and the tendency to dominate.

Some one decided that the Screamer grenades make great psychological warfare, tests on captured Biotics showed that repeated exposure quickly developed into shell shock in victims, and PST was often observed even months later. The leading experts in House Ashe decided that the combat aplications of this weapon were worthy, and the effects it caused when used against other humans were too good to pass up. Yeah, they think like that too, and you thought Shiva was the only one.

MD-2d12(4d6)(20'radius) for a single shot, 6d12(1d6x10+12)(25'radius) for a 5 shot burst, 1d12x10(2d6x10)(30'radius) for a 10 shot burst.
Maximum Effective Range- 1000'
Rate of Fire-1,5, or 10 shots.
Payload- 100!
Weight- 40lb
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I'll see about finishing off my armor next, Its almost complete! now If only I knew how to change the name of my topic.....

nothing like a good old fashioned triple post.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Living Body Armor-Ablative Armor
AKA Shell Suit It should be noted that I do not fully understand the ablative concept, and do not care to look it up.
The newest in a long line of experimental armors, the Shell Suit has shown a lot of progress, and is the first viable subject out of dozens of tests. In fact, it is some of those dozens. When the experts at House Ashe could get any of their projects past the first testing stage, the gave up and tried to start over. A few months later, some one got the idea of gathering all the parts of their previous concepts, and put them into one whole. Mix a bunch of failures together and they will make a success, crazy amiright?
Well it worked, the test armors are still in the experimental phase, but the Regeneration, Growth, and Mod Muscle features have all been proven a success. In fact, some of the features have meshed in unsuspected ways, leading to surprising benefits. One of those ways is the Natural Mobility. Natural Mobility was not engineered into the armor, it was a sideeffect.
The armors' main defense is a quickly growing shell, and to maximize the mobility, the growth areas were limited to ensure there was no overlap, which might severely hamper range of movement. As the major muscle locations were what they needed to protect, they were the obviouse place to start, followed by protecting the internal organs and whatnot. Unfortunately, the enhanced Mod Muscle underlayer had the nasty effect of pulling apart the growth layer. This would actually turn out well. It divided the growth layer along all the lines a human body uses to move. the result is a sculpted suit of armor that looks like a body builder with no skin.
All the growth plates still touch, but in such a way as movement is not hampered at all, and the Mod Mucle further makes enhances mobility by carrying all the weight of the armor.
As it is still an experimental armor, actual protection varies wildly, but the Librarians and Engineers are sure that, when perfected, it will be the best suit of armor available.

MDC Protection Ratings Each location has its own defense rating, and that of its shell on top of it. The shell has double the mdc of the location, and regenerates very fast.Shell=*
Main Body-5d6+30(*=MDCx2) for example, a main body with 35 mdc, would be protected by a shell with 70 mdc.
Head-3d6+20(*=MDCx2)
Arms and Legs-3d6+30(*=MDCx2)
Weight- 15lb naked, 3x when fully armored.
Armor Regeneration- Due to the engineering of the shell, a layer of carapace will be grown, then a layer of growth tissue repeated ad nauseam. This causes a father re-growth cycle, as each layer of growth tissue penetrated will immediately begin regenerating itself, and the carapace, at an astonishing rate, and not just from the bottom up, but every angle.
regenerates 1d6 per melee to the shell, 3d4 per minute to the body. Destroyed shell will be regenerated upon the first bit of mdc being replaced, destroyed limbs will take 12 hours.
Natural Mobility- the armor moves in the perfect range of motion as the human body. No Penalty.
Mod Muscle ExoSkeletal Augment- Raises PS to Splicers PS of 20.
Trade Value- Approx. 50,000 quid.
Some Notes- Due to the complex nature of the armor some enhancements cost more, and others are impossible. This list will be posted later as my brain is dieing from the activity. general notes will be that it costs an extra 5 bio-e per 20 bio-e,or fraction thereof, for any enhancement that would displace the shell, or alter it substantially. Also, the Shell Suit may be change to start with some kind a weapons, like bone spurs, free of cost. i dunno yet.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Thats all for now, my new robots are almost done tho, and I'm still working on my new enhancements. Not sure how I'll finish them tho, as I'm not so hot with enhancements. All commentary welcome.

Why thank you for your kind words sir. I have more coming tonight. Robot this time. Maybe two. And maybe Ill post the nearly munchkin stats of my Shell Suit Perfected. It is ridonculous.

EDIT********
I have to be up in six hours, i'll finish it in the omrning, I should have two new robots up by then, and maybe I'll update my Decimator.
EDIT********
God I hate mornings. :x Especially when I have to drive to mandatory meetings, or be suspended, only to drive back an hour later, on my day off. :badbad: It makes me so mad I'll just have to supply the machine with new robots to PWNZORZ with. :D Hint at them with my hideous naming sense? Oh yeah*crash*.
Free Wheelie, and the Helly-chopper. 8-)

yeah, I went there.

God I need more sleep.

Ahh, still has that New Robot Smell :D
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Multi-Wheeled High Speed Interceptor
AKA Free Wheelie

When at rest, this robot resembles a regular motorcycle when at rest, but is in actuality a killer robot. Yay.
The robot looks just like a non-human robot, until the seat pops up, revealing a humanoid torso, with its head attached directly to its body.
It has two arms sporting short sword style vibro-blades. It sports two forward facing rail-guns as its main armaments, designed specifically to stick in the wounds they cause, along with two light lasers for backup. It also packs a couple of mini-missiles in what would be its saddle bags.
It is somewhat misleading to refer to it as a motorcycle, as it actually has 4 wheels. Its wheels are on prehensile legs, with the front and back pair capable of combining into one wheel assembly. The four wheeled design was decided on for stability and traction, with a dual wheeled design for high maneuverability. Also, it seems as if the wheels would be easy to destroy after you make it past the wheel covers, but that is a lie. The wheels are actually made of metal, and resemble a shell in that they seem to have a spiral pattern to their construction. Further more, their treads are actually blades, and the robots were named after their most devastating attack, also, because I'm a mean person. There is no need for the wheels to be metal blades of doom, I just felt like throwing you a curve ball, also the motorcycle is really a four wheeler, Its just how I roll.

MDC-
Main Body(vehicle)-210
Torso-135
Arms-55
Wheels-70
Armored Wheel Covers-30
Prehensile Axles-45*
Railguns-35*
Lasers-20*
Box Launchers-55
Vibroblades-15*

Stats-to be announced, as in, I totally forgot about this step.
Hight-
Weight-
Length-
Width-
Speed-
Power-
Value-
ECT-

Weapons
1) Pop Wheelie
MD-2d6x10+30 It freaking hurts.
Range-If you're this close, you deserve it.
Payload- Till you kill it.
Rate of Fire- realisticly, every freaking action, it has prehensile axles after all. But, to keep players alive longer, I suggest it is an extra full melee attack, ie, if it gets on you, it does this attack in addition to all its others. Don't fall down.

2)Rail Guns
MD-5d6 each, 1d6x10 if fired in unison
Range-4000'
Payload-100 shots each
Rate of fire- APH

3)Back-up Lasers
MD-3d6 each, 6d6 together
Range-2000'
Payload- Effectively Unlimited
ROF- APH

4)Missile Launchers
MD-varies, usually 1d4x10
Range- 1 mile
Payload- 10 each(20 total)
ROF- one at a time.

5)Vibro-blades
MD-2d6
Range- again, you deserve it
Payload-........Seriously.....
ROF- Swing batter batter

More crap to come.
woulda been up more than an hour ago, but I was having server troubles. back to work on the final product. Feedback would be nice.

I like your material. It's about the right power level, not too powerful and not too weak. Please keep it coming!
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

I/m glad you think so, most of my stuff is designed around a theme, I deliberately make them around a specific thing, and then fill in the peripherals. I actually made the main weapon of this robot and the next one a little powerful, they really hurt to get hit with. But, I try to balance that out with weaker secondary weapons.

Unfortunately, I gotz da Riterz Blok. no more robot for now, but I got a whole week off coming up, so I/ll try to throw some stuff up then.
I am currently working on a Jackolope warmount(forgive me), cuz the robots is done with the exception of fluff, like weight, power supply, blah.

I do as well, but I don't do well when I make those. Yet.

More of my fantastical designs! Another vehicle designed around an idea I once had, yay! This one is less cool in my mind, and I have run out of ideas temporarily, so my next robot design will most likely be me acting like a Great-Big-D to my players, and the world in general. Then again, It might also be something genuinely needed, you never can tell with me ;-) Enjoy!

Fast Attack Arial Interceptor- Mark II
AKA Hell-Chopper

This one will be shorter :/. This delightful little killing machine is a Hellitchopp'der(hell-it-chop'd-er, thats how I roll). At first sight it appears to be a rotor-wing assembly, this is again, a lie. The resistance remembers well the first incarnation of the Flying Strike Ship. Smaller, slower, less maneuverable with crappy armor and not enough low yield weapons. That was the Flying Strike Ship of Fifty years ago, and its image was purposely invoked by this machine, indeed, it looks like a Strike ship Jr. with rotor blades on top. The another difference is that it doesn't have hands, in there place is more Rotor Blades. While their utility is in question, some have postulated that they contribute to maneuverability or increased speed. They are wrong(yay) the blades, all of the blades, serve no purpose than to be weapons. The robot vehicle is, in fact, not even a true rotor-wing model, it relies on hover technology to fly and, as such, is supremely fast and maneuverable. It even uses jets to propel itself faster. Because, in my world, Techno-Zombie Robots aren't the only way the machine messes with you.

Launched from 4 Ports on the Devastators back/top/dorsal thing.

MDC by Location:
Main Body- 240
Top Rotor Assembly- 120
Arms*- 45
Arm Blade Assemblies- 60 each

Weight- 2 tons
Length- 12'
Width- 6' , 12' with Rotors
Speed- 550 mph, 200 is considered cruising speed.
Power- Extended nuclear battery(total butt pull there) 2 years regular use, 5 months with heavy use of the energy weapons and top speed.
Value- Questionable.
Ect.- Let me know If I missed anything, or if there is anything you would change/ add.

Weapons-
1) Blender-An attack that comes from the combined might of all three rotor assemblies.
MD- 2d4x10+24
Range- Too close, 5'
Payload- as long as all three assemblies are intact
RoF- Constant

2) Dorsal Rotor Blades
MD- 6d6

Range- 4000'
Payload- Unlimited
RoF- APM

6) Mini Missiles
MD- Varies, usually fragmentation
Range- 5280'

Hope you like it. Comments welcome. I'm not too good with fluff text, so if someone wants to help me out with that on any of my creations, I would be much obliged.
been having problems with my internets, finished this two days ago. will have more stuff up soon, recently ate a batch of inspiration flakes, I've got a new machine design, 2 or three warmounts, some enhancements(maybe item specific) and an occ, I'll try to finish them quickly so I can share the joy!

Just some fun hint dropping to get my pencil abrasively pulled along a sheet of finely shredded and reconstituted plant fibers.
I have a concept for some new warmounts, specificly patrolers/interceptors. One for teh Underground, und one for teh Undersea. They will be fun, all I gotta do is hit the stats, and think up a name, already decided on what they will be, just hope they work out.

A new Machine design, one meant for the Sea as well, a few more will branch out from this creation, but the inspiration for them hasn't really hit me yet. Actually, I just got a couple of ideas, man I'm on a roll! So Yeah.

An OCC. I'm really excited about this one, But I'm having both balance issues(in splicers even  ) and a hard time figuring out how they fit in the game setting. I just have trouble explaining them. I will, of course, have a whole slew of related material to them, but again, having trouble fitting them into the context of them game, they are just that interesting in nature.

Thinking of some new enhancements / new uses for old enhancements. slow going on those.

Working on a kaiju, losing interest in it, I'll pound one out anyway, as all the work is practically done for me.

I guess thats all, when I run out I may have another 3 month dry period, but I hope not. Maybe I'll think up something scary for shiva, or just get my buddy quantum to post his stuff while I percolate up a good one. All the good enhancements are already made, or really hard to stat out, my stuff thus far has been within the balance threshold of the setting, but I not sure how long I can keep that up, some of the stuff I have posted has seen some cutbacks as it is. I guess since n one has complained I'll just go along the way I have been.

Btw, just what would you consider "pushing the envelope" as far as bio-tech goes, what do you think some boundaries would be in this setting? Is there anything it can't do? Why? How would it do certain things, like.... I don't know, something more outlandish than what has already been presented.

I haven't quite perfected them yet, but I thought they were good enough for general perusal. I'm glad I was not mistaken. I am overjoyed that you like it.

Unfortunately, I still need to stat most of my latest creations. However, I have gotten them past idea, and concept. Those take the longest for me. Nothing I have posted has taken more than a few hours start to finish, and most took less than 30 minutes. Once I started. Thats what always gets me. Starting. I'll have an aquatic warmount up soon, I'll try to work on it while on the job tomorrow.

In a bit of good news(depending on who you are), I have convinced one of my friends to submit his creations as well. :D
He will be adding his own intellectual "children" to this beloved site, starting with what he calls a "Warmount". Note: that is not its name, I just disagree.
It is suitably epic, and I think it will boggle your minds. I practicly spent an hour jumping up and down with glee while we hammered it out, I take partial credit because we were bouncing ideas off of each other. Also, I'm a dick. Lol.
if everything works out, he will post it while I'm at work, and I will post when I get home, and splicers will not go even half a day without a new creation being added.

Ink Jets: creates a fun little substance that rapidly undergoes a chemical reaction on contact with oxygen in the water, the reaction causes the chemical to spread in every direction, quickly turning a 60 cubic foot area completely opaque. The fun part comes when on dry land, as the same substance quickly vaporizes in air, however, it is exposed to much more oxygen, and as such, burns out faster. it only creates a 30 cubic foot cloud of Ink Smoke, which lasts for 30 seconds before starting to dissipate, granting half concealment for 15 seconds thereafter, and only 1/4 concealment from 45 seconds to 1 minute. Almost all of the the obscuring cloud is gone by the time a minute has passed.
Bio-E Cost: 15
Prerequisite: None

Light Show: A real nice little surprise for all those big bad meanies out there, nothing is better than turning the hulked out Dreadguard into a drooling pile. This enhancement works by taking a few light cells and mixing them around a bit. You get the three primary colors, and infrared and ultraviolet thrown in for kicks/ those with enhanced vision. Then, you up the wattage, making them painfully bright to look at. Then, and here's where the fun starts, you strobe them all at around 60 flashes per second. Each light cell strobes with a different frequency and pattern, and the whole thing is set up to be as damaging as possible, with approximately 1 in every 4 humans being effected.
Damage: None.
Range: Sight, but under 100' is best.
Effect: everyone who sees this has to roll against 14 or better to avoid a consciousness altering chemical change in the brain. Those who fail suffer from the usual effects of being stunned, and nauseous. Those who fail must also roll again, this time against 16 or better, or black out/ suffer from a seizure. This would remove them from combat. Those who succeed in all their saves, just get a slight headache.
Bio-E Cost: 20
Prerequisite: 5 light cells.

Working on resin injector, liking it so far, let me know what you guys think about these two, i'm not sure on the bio-e costs, or the rest of it really. been a while since I studied seizures.

Ahh, the joy of double posting, I hope their aren't rules against this, I'll have to go check the rules again. Oh well, this board is pretty dead anyway. :( I just thought I'd throw up an update. I am quickly hammering up the sharp edges on my OCC, the Terror Regis. :)
I also am nearing completion on the undersea interdiction Killer Whale Warmount, and an as-yet-to-be-named underground patrol Warmount. I am also almost done with the Resin Injector, because that one is tricky, I'm gonna have different rules and penalties for both Organic and Inorganic victims. 8-)
I have yet to get my next Machine past conception, but am working on it. Slowly but surely, and hoping I don't end up contradicting something from the new Splicers book thats (Hopefully)gonna come out. I wish we could get a sneak peek to give us insight on what kinds of things will be in it, and I hope the oceans are expanded upon.
I am getting my buddy Quantum to throw up some creations of his own, but he doesn't have my book, because I do. So we will be adding his new "Warmount" some time after 4pm Tuesday, which is tomorrow I suppose. And maybe a surprise, that we worked on jointly. For real this time though, not just something I'm gonna tack my name on cuz I was there.
I also have an idea for a Kaiju that is only now getting into the concept stage, and some more stuff for undersea resistance, with applications for both the Machine and the Splicers. Again, still conceptual.
Btw, I have gotten, like, no feedback, where is everyone? Where is the Post-Fu? Thankfully the feedback I have gotten has all been positive, So I must be doing a good job. :)

I finished it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Decimator Land Combat Vehicle

For several hundred years, the machine has reigned supreme over her planet. She has gone where she pleases, she has done as she pleases. She has created forests of such beauty and complexity as to be unrivaled in nature. She has created great arcologies, which could house entire nations. She has shaped and sculpted the planet as she sees fit. She has even taken light steps into the very Seas which are Anathema to her. She has been untouchable, unseeable and inescapable. Humanity, which once ruled all the world, had been relegated to a mere child's toy. Something to play with, to put on display, to break or rebuild at a whim.

No Longer.

Chaos reigns now. Humanity, once thought decimated unto obscurity, if not oblivion, has survived. By all evidence, they have thrived. That which was once a pest is now a plague. They are everywhere, they are everything. Since the very beginning, the very first war, they have adapted. They have evolved, they have grown, hidden in their underground shelters, safe under the waves. They hide no longer. What was once a desperate last stand has become a war of attrition. The machine is losing. It will not disappear now, nor in a thousand years. But it is losing. The machine only has so many resources. Metal can only be recycled and reforged so many times. Humanity needs only to grow at a sustainable rate, and they will again rule the world. It is nigh inevitable.

This Will Not Be.

The Humans have come out of hiding. The have exposed themselves to the wrath of the gods, and they have survived. For now. But it is not yet done. The War has only now just begun. The humans will see. They are not the only ones who can Adapt, Evolve, Grow. The machine has seen their innovations. She has learned of them now, as they had of her. The humans have begun swarming across the land as a tide of locusts. So now will the machine. The greatest threat in their arsenal is one they only occasionally use, insects. Too small to target, to powerful to ignore. The Machine has Seen, it has Learned, it is now time. Time to prove once and for all who rules this world.

Main Cannon- 450
Stand-off Cannons(2)- 200 each
Mini-missile Launchers(2)- 100 each
Leg Shields(6)- 350 each
Crawler Missiles(2)- 350 each
Burrower Missiles(2)- 200 each

Weapons Systems:
Laser Cannon- what appears to be the main armament of the Spider Walker, this is mainly just to take out large warmounts that get close enough to pose a threat.
MD: 1D4X100
Range: 8,000'
Payload: Unlimited
RoF: Twice per melee

Plasma Cannons-Secondary weapons for, well, anything that gets in range.
MD: 2D6x10
Range: 4,000'
Payload Unlimited
RoF: Four times per melee each, dual shots count as one weapon

Mini-Missile Launchers(2)-For bombardment and anti-air
MD: Varies as per missile loadout
Range: one mile
Payload: 40 missiles(80 total)

Crawler Missiles(2)-These medium ranged missiles are housed in their own compartments on the sides, above the Burrowers. These missiles are typically launched over and past the enemies. They impact behind them, and the sides open like the blossoms and a flower. Then the hordes of Nano-Drones swarm out like some kind of nightmare. They head towards the enemies and wreak as much havoc as possible.
MD: None
Range: 40 miles, but often deployed at 1/10th that or less
Payload: 2, one per launcher
RoF: one at a time, or in volleys of two(rare)

Burrower Missiles-Medium range, Capabilities not fully realized. Designed to be launched at a known resistance location, the Burrower slams into the ground and burrows untill it reaches a hollow large enough for a man to stand. At this point, it releases its payload.
This is generally horrifying.
MD: None
Range: 40 miles
Payload: 2, one per launcher
RoF: one at a time

Burrower and crawler missiles both open to release 2000 "bugs". These are small nano-drones. they exist only to swarm a target, inject them with active nanites, and then see to it that as much damage is caused as possible. The Nano-Drone is about the size of a human fist. It is cheap, easy to make, and utterly replaceable. The machine needs only to collect any still active, whats left of the rest, and if possible the platform the are launched from. Those missiles are expensive.

Then Nano-Drone is little more than a mobile syringe with crude sensors stapled on top. They exist only for one purpose, to kill splicers. Specifically the special ones. The machine has begun to prioritize its targets. It has noticed some new consistent designs among its enemies. Swarmlords are a threat far beyond the scope of their appearance. They can strike from a far longer range than any other splicer, they have specialized attacks for any situation, and they can take out entire squads of steel troopers by themselves. But they aren't the only ones who hide behind the front lines. Many dreadguard are specialized fighters, that focus on one or more narrowly applicable abilities, but take these narrowly focused abilities and maximize their potential. Behemoths are also priority targets, they always have been, and always will be. Then there's those Juggernauts. All these things are precious and valuable resources. All of them are grouped stupidly together in one place, the back lines of an assault, and the Nano-Drone is designed to kill them all.

The Nano-Drone attacks by injecting active and hostile Nanites directly into the enemy. The damage is caused by the nanites immediately beginning to deconstruct the target. The nano-drone the cauterizes the wound as part of the attack to prevent the body from flushing the nanites out, thus sealing them in. the Nano-Drone secondary purpose is what causes immediate damage, as they deconstruct the enemy on a cellular level. this damage would be grueling if it were localized, but the nanites primary purpose requires them to spread. While they then begin to hamper healing, that isn't their real purpose either. The reason they spread is so that they come into contact with every other nanite in the body. Normally, these other nanites wait for direct contact with metal. The nano-drone initiates a nano-plague response artificially. It supplies the nanites, and triggers the effect. The effect is equivalent to the metallic poison.

Nano-Drone
MDC: 5
Damage: 4d6*
Payload: 2

*plus nano-plague response.

Additionally, the Devastator carries a compliment of 6 Multi-Wheeled Intercepters, and 2 Roto-Tiller Aerial Intercepters.

Well, I finally stopped my procrastinating. I have been doing some writing. Finishing an under water warmount, finally worked out the kinks in my underwater combat robot, warning, its a killer. Worked out an enhancement or three. Been working on various stuff, like culture and societal constants, such as profanity and sayings equivilent to those we have today. Trying to throw together a few HLS adventures.

I have started construction on a new Knight Tower, to back up the rooks. Almost finished with this rcc I've been working on.

Wrapping up a few houses. Probably gonna procrastinate on uploading them even after I finish. Just warning you, don't expect anything for a week. I'll be busy tomorrow, but I'll try to get an upgrade and a warmount up on thursday or friday.

Missiles that rain silently from above.
Deadlaunched straight up, then rocket to a maximum cieling, and then glide down from above or at a steep angle. most robots will see a missile coming, or pick up on it by way of sonic sensors long before it reaches them. these rockets are meant to sow confusion. automatic initiative, and auto hit if first attack/sneak attack.

The missile is altered to have a massive bone spike on the head, with 4 eyes placed around the periphery, and the engines with variable thrust. The missile explodes, launching the bonespike on the tip into the enemy, where it explodes.

most robots, due to their combat computers, can blind fire a dumb rocket to intercept your volley nearly every single time, most splicers agree, this is highly unfair. this rocket was designed with 4 eyes and 3 variable thrust engines to negate this advantage.

Armor Piercing Missile.
MDC: +10
Damage: 6d12
Range: up to 1000' up, and glide 1 mile
Bonuses: +8 strike/+5 autododge
Bio-E: +5 per missile
Pre-Req's: Missile Pods, Each upgraded missile takes up 2 slots.

an additional upgrade adds bone ribbing to the missile, which turn into deadly shrapnel., causing 3d12 damage to a radius of 10'.
Bio-E: 5

And fragmentation, so yes.

Use as a marital aid is strongly discouraged.

Did I mention they are twice the size of a regular missile?

And they grow that size in less than 2 weeks.

The Horror RCC
A New kind of insidious threat has shown its terrifying face to the world. Spawned in the very heart of the resistance, it has spread and consumed like some kind of plague. Worse, it has begun to show signs of sentience. Who created these things? Why have they stopped attacking? What do they want? How are they capable of hiding in the very Havens of humanity?

The Experimental Terror.

Tempest Cannon
A brand new experimental weapon created to fight the machine. It boasts even more raw destructive force than the Omega Cannon. A weapon of such prodigious power that it poses a danger to its user. Currently in field testing and available to certain units.

Reap the Whirlwind.

Medicinal Moss
A unique and fun little creation, essential for life in the Haven. Holds a small part of every humans life. Fluff for House living.

Don't chew the Berries.

The Minute-Man OCC
The latest advance in Splicer Technology. These brave men and women have taken a chance to defend all of humanity from the machine. But, unlike their brothers and sisters in arms, they do it from the very heart of the machines control. Hiding among the very retro villages the machine holds so dear. Unbeknownst to most, they hide among the Havens as well. What do they guard from in the bowels of the Havens?

What are they keeping out? Or in?

Knight Tower
As bio-technology has advanced, so has the machine. She Learns, She Adapts, and She is preparing for the Onslaught. Over the years, She has seen the pattern of resistance movements and technological growth. The most startling development is the emergence of support creatures, and passive siege plantations. The resistance is becoming less defensive and more offensive every year. Soon, they will leave guerilla warfare behind, even if they haven't realized it yet. She has been devising some support of her own for just that time.

She never leaves her Trojan at home.

Anti-Exposure Jelly
A nasty new development by the machine. Using her own Genetics and biological Databases to help her fight back. For those who find the machine a bit to wimpy.

Always a 5x5 square for jello.

Just some stuff to come. Finally got my book back.

A bit rough, but I promised new stuff so long ago that it isn't even funny. Besides, who doesn't love a little Haven Fluff?

MediMoss- a type of fugus with massive medicinal use, grown on a special section of the Moss Farms, the MediMoss is like any other, except that it grows "berries". these berries are actually a large growth of swollen fibrous material, tightly packed into a spherical shape. The "berries" are coated in a slimy sugary film so that they can be easily swallowed. The fibers themselves are horribly bitter, and have the consistancy of human hair, biting down on them or chewing them is not advised.

Maintaining the Moss Farms is the responsibility of the children inside the Haven. Only the children are small enough and light enough to work the farms without damaging the floors, walls, and ceilings covered by moss. With medicinal moss specifically, children both see to its day to day needs, and harvest the precious berries. While smaller children tend to the immature patches, older groups of children tend the older areas as the moss eats into the enclosure, growing steadily outward.

MediMoss is treated with a special nutrient spray every day, and harvested when ever and where ever it sprouts berries.

Anti Exposure Jelly-The Anti-E Gel was created by the machine to Kill one bird by recycling another Stone. The flighty and ever present Pestilence has always hassled Nexus. Nexus has discovered that they were using the Graveyards as a resource, both for raw materials and as a staging ground for assaults. Nexus has always done everything she could to prevent this, but there are too many Graves, dug too deep, and they are spread too far. Freya has removed them from her cities and showered them with radiation and poison gasses. Ishtar has used sewer crawlers and cable snakes. Kali has created robots from the remains and buried them there. But Gaia has the greatest chance of success. If Humanity can use them as a resource, so can She.

Created organically by a plant engineered to eat human remains. Hardens on contact with water/oxygen. Fills all cavities, and a secondary hollow layer beneath first layer of armor. Allows small machines to fight continually, even after hull is breached. Also acts as ballistics jelly, and insulates/dissipates energy. Makes robots rediculously hard to kill. once main body is reduced to 40% the robot takes half damage due to high volume jelly exposure. The jelly is toxic to living beings. For Balance reasons, I would only use Anti-E Gel for slightly larger than man sized robots, and those smaller.

The boulder in the path of the weak is a stepping stone in the path of the mighty. Nexus is stepping its game up.

Alrighty then, I have some stuff. Been a bit more than half a year. round three quarters. LOst everything i was working on.

I'm going to rebuild everything from the ground up. First things coming, Bio-E Disrupters. Some fluff from my plant house, and a bit o' bio-tech from 'em too.

Maybe a warmount or three. A new Creature, and probably some outlines of a new class. No time table. Those have worked out disappointingly in the past. Be posting something soon.

If you need a hand or just another set of eyes, let me know. I'm wrapping up "Unleashed" this week and will gladly write/edit in exchange for some bio-e. ;) And an early glimpse at what you've got cooking.

I feel blessed at the offer.

Also, I'd like to commemorate the second anniversary of my first contribution to splicers. It was April or february 2009. I wasn't on the boards when the time rolled around this year. I noticed i had an obscenely high number of views on this thread and just wanted to thank everyone for sticking with me and supporting me this whole time. Best. Forum. Ever.

Those are some cool new items. I really like them a lot.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

All my stuff that just needed to be cleaned up a bit.
All my stuff that barely made it to stats without fluff.
All my stuff that never made it past the planning stages.
Gone. Forever. I don't even/.

I was having difficulty and annoyance with my mac. I went to my friend, and he offered to Run a partition and put windows on it. So I did, and I backed up everything that had been important to me recently. My palladium files weren't used recently, at least not as classified by my computer. I found this out when my friend asked for something the other day.

Worst part was, I have the only database I know about with all of the fan works. And I do mean all of it. From all those old fan sites. You know, the ones that no longer exist? Like geo-cities sites and stuff? Yeah those ones. All that information? Lost. As in no longer exists as far as I can tell.

Luckily one of my buddies does his own computer stuff said some things I don't understand, and helped me out a bit. This, combined with giving a friend of mine a substantial chunk of my collection many lost and forgotten moons ago has recovered pretty much everything, except for a few corrupted files. Which were fortunately all creations of mine by coincidence. I can just redo those. And It's a minority too.

It's a fair darn bit too. The part I was worried about it about half a gig. Of plain text files. many, many plain text files.
