DRAGONS in HU2 ??
Should I use Dragons from Dragons and Gods (Palladium fantasy) ?
or
Immortal Dragon from Powers Unlimited 2 (Heroes Unlimited) ?
I know its not a great question. But which would easier to deal with and Why ?
I'm thinking just using D&G myself. No Nurfing at all for the Dragons in abilities.

Yeag D&G is the way to go. Hatchling are easily on par with most supers....
I am very opinionated. Yes I rub people the wrong way but at the end of the day I just enjoy good hard discussion and will gladly walk away agreeing to not agree

D&G or Rifts (not RUE). You can customize more with the PU2 but I think palladium did a pretty good job with D&G and the Rifts dragons. Great Horns my fav and Chiang Ku. I have a Chiang Ku (Pen Long or Lucky Dragon) that is a recurring NPC in my HU world for last 10 years or so, he's kinda of a cross between the dungeon master from the old Dungeon Dragon toon, and Nakor from the Rift War saga by R. Feist. In the olden days before I had the gift of plot foresight I used him to explain, undo, or whatever I needed at the time to fix a plot hole. Hahaha Now he has an actual purpose ( A Celestial Guardian) and involves himself only when I've actually written him in and not just a fix it tool. BTW The Celestial Guardians are where NPC's and PC's of good alignments end up when they've become too powerfull in my HU world.
This makes me want to go back and actually give a full write up for the Celestial Guardians team . Hmmmm. The mind is brimming over for a huge epic now. Now to fit it in with the other 3 larger HU campaigns I've got going on. Ahh to plant the seeds of yet another story into the minds of the players.
Wow sorry got off topic, but thanks! lol what a garbled mess up there!

Re: DRAGONS in HU2 ??
Yeah I'm thinking of using the D&G too.
Hatchlings in D&G are pretty well balanced out for SDC or MDC settings.
Plus i will not have to come up with Super-Abilities for the Dragon as i would in PU2's Immortals. Less work the better I say.
I do not mind a few of the R-UE Dragons. Flame Wind, Forrest Runner, Whipped Tail. Those breeds are pretty cool actually. The Ice one is ok, could be better. I dislike the Royal Frilled dragon from RUE however. Breathe weapon sucksass big time. They should have used Lightning or something like that. That would have made them cool. But they didnt so they suck.
Yeah. I looking at Fire Dragon, Great Horned, and Flame Wind, or Whipped Tailed.
I think I will go find a Picture of a Dragon I like and see which kind fits that picture the best. Already found alot of cool ones online.

Depending on what you plan to do.
I use the D&G dragons personally.
Reason: Chiang Six is a chiang-ku dragon with all powers discripted in Rifts World Book 2: Atlantis.

Re: DRAGONS in HU2 ??
Hmm, depends on the storyline, what you need him to do.
If he's a player character and can't constantly disguise himself as a human(in other words is a standard non Chaing Ku hatchling, then how is he explained to world at large? Does it think he's real dragon? Does a corporation claim to be his maker?
OR are dragons excepted as existing in your world?

Damn ICE/BCP/BorderPatrol! Damn everyone who won’t damn ICE/BCP/Border Patrol!! Damn everyone that won’t put lights in his windows and sit up all night damning CE/BCP/BorderPatrol!!!
If you support ICE/BCP/BorderPatrol at this point, you would have called the Gestapo on the people surreptitiously moving into your neighbor's attic and huffed that you were only following the law.

Re: DRAGONS in HU2 ??
I've got a question about the Dragon Immortal Power Category in PU2 that a player in one of my games raised.
Would a dragon be able to use their Metamorphosis: Human ability to go halfway between dragon and human? Would they be able to have a dragon's tail at human size? Turn their skin into scales? Sprout wings from their back?

Only if they are a were-dragon.

IMO no. That would need the Metamorphosis:half human-half dragon ability.

Re: DRAGONS in HU2 ??
Dragon metamorphosis is almost the same as Metamorphosis: Superior which means they can
become anything they want accept inanimate objcts and insects (the insects namely to
have a sense of rule balance, a great horn dragon as a fly on your shoulder ). So yes
he could become a half animal/half humanoid.
I've done dragons as both versions. I did a conversion of Chiang Six on the 2nd edition
conversion post as an immortal dragon from PU 2. He was for the most part the same guy. It
all depends upon how powerful do I want the hero or villain npc.
