Skill system
Just gonna throw this out there. Any considered using some form of skill program system instead of the current skill system for Robotech? SC's MOS system is sort of a cross between the two types, but especially reading the recent issue of the Rifter with the N&S article about military characters, I've been giving it alot of thought....

The Skill Program system can work really well - if you make the programs logical and control the availability within reasonable limits.
It does really well at simulating military training with MOSes and such.
The only trick is simulatign the skills that you'd pick up along the way or outside of training. Secodnary skills can do that - but you again need to be careful to make the secondary skill availability logical.
