 Post subject: Pull Punch mechanics

Comment: Commander of "Ghost Squadron" before Gen. Edwards stole it out from under me.
I am using the first edition Robotech books. I have a question regarding pulled punches. My book says that after declaration of said punch you must roll an 11+ or deal full damage. What I am wondering is that a natural 11+ on the d20 or a modified 11+ including strike bonuses?

Pull Punch Roll = D20 + Specific Bonuses to Pull Punch

Bonuses to Pull Punch exist (in the HTH types they typically are lumped with roll as "pull/roll with punch...").

Thanks, that is just what I was looking for. It appears I need to get the most recent books for the updated tweaks.
