TheElf's DA page updated...

Unread post by TheElf »

Hi all. Been busy, but just updated my DA page. Two new Cheesecake pieces featuring Lisa Hayes and Sue Graham. Enjoy!

Again, excellent work.
And good idea, keeping Lisa and Sue separate...otherwise the portrait sitting would have degenerated into violence...

Not like when we tried to get Minmei and Jan Morris to pose together.

Nicely done.

Now for a real *hit* all we need is a four way cat fight between Sue, Lisa, Minmei and Jan and for extra *Motivation* the prize of the cat fight is a bottle of Vodka and a young, buff and in the buff love slave Rick Hunter, basicly a women's version of *Ale&Whores*

Sue: "I don't want to go out with a commanding officer. Espesialy my commanding officer."

Lisa: "Already hitting that."

Minmei: "I got over him already, but I'll take that bottle if you don't mind."

Jan: "Got myself a man already so no thank you."

Not bad I was thinking more along the lines of the Battle Of The Mounds from the first Conan The Barbarian flick.

Original series she came across as rather peevish and self-serving. Of course, Scott was rather adrenaline-hopped, because he might not have realized that 'gathering and preserving useful intelligence' might take precedence over 'tossing one more gun into the slaughterhouse'.

Though the whole Sue Graham as Rick Hunter stalker thing is a McKinneyist creation, and as such may no longer be considered canon.

Well just goes to show that Rick's *The Man* for getting gals across generations to throw themselves or at lest their under garments at him while Minmei is an old washed up hag drinking herself to death.

Minmei's current looks are a matter of conjecture given that we last see her in the Prelude tTSC comic is a backshot of her in a tube with her rescuers looking aghast...so we can assume she's badly facially deformed(although, for all we know, she could look like plastic Barbie doll).
Interestingly, in one of the pre-Harmony Gold crackdown indie comics of the 90s, when people were pretty freewheeling with the franchise, a one-issue post-Reflex Point comic depicts, rather sympathetically, an older Minmei presiding over a Tiresian musical academy, alongside Musica and Bowie. Musica, interesting enough, is dressed like an background dancer, while Minmei is dressed in what appear to be Tirolian aristocratic robes, and has a scarred face.

I like to think that post-Prelude, Minmei wakes up to that sort of person, ending up busted up, but not destroyed, with a more realistic life among the Tirolian ex-pats, with whom she;s likely to less baggage and exaggerated reputation. Find a nice middle-aged High Pleb or Patrician, settle down, have 2.5 kids, and study music, while assisting the younger generation make new songs.

Really now ok then but still I see her as drunken old hag of a wash up like Jan Morris in my head cannon.

Jan's easier to hate because at her age, she's had time to mature, but hasn't, and is shown in Macross as still playing publicity games(the pre-Macross comics, again non-canon, show this is endemic when she does a USO tour of Macross Island back when Project Valkyrie was testing, and she assigns herself as Roy Fokker's new girlfriend because he's easy on the eyes...much to great dismay and misunderstanding between Roy and Claudia who are still trying to figure out their feelings for each other).
Minmei's a dumb kid in comparison.

Nice but dumb kids grow up into stupid, mean and low cunning adults.

A cat fight between Claudia and Jan juring a USO show would kick much ass.

It would of been nice if the Sue Gram one had more of the bike so it fits better as a desktop pict.

Thanks everyone, its good to be back with some finished art finally. I have so much I'm working on, including some ASC stuff and lots of crunch. If I could just find the time I'd have a Battle class ships of the RDF series addition, and a fantastic AGACS Battle scene...

i'd love to see a scene from the Invid occupation.. an ASC or UEDF veritech coming in to a landing on a cargo ship being used as a carrier.

perhaps use this image of the Atlantic Conveyor (from the Falklands War) as inspiration?
http://photos.wikimapia.org/p/00/00/34/25/31_big.jpg

you could always have a mix of UEDF and ASC mecha parked on deck to help establish the timeframe. :)

The Typhoon class sub would make a good stealth carrier. You could take out the missiles and fit in a hanger and elevator for Adventurers or Logans.

There was a novel way back in the '90s that actually had a Tyohoon converted into a subcarrier that used subfighters. The book was called Sharuq by Bill Keith.

One of the issues of Ted Numura's Tigers of Terra, had a Typhoon modified to carry Sea Harriers (at least four).
