The 2088th Pathfinders are the UEEF's version of the Ice Guard/37th Deep Ones.

Captain Kirk “ Ham “ Tiberius
Captain Kirk is the Captain of the 2088th's ship the Gargoyle
who is a perverted whiny b***h of a male drama queen and the only reason why he is the captain and has not been spaced/fraged is because of his god like unconventional tactical and strategic skills.

Lieutenant Tessa “ Wrong Way “ Jones
Tessa is the Gargoyle's dyslexic, mathematically challenged naive, sexy, shy small breasted Astro-Navigator with glasses who is easily stressed out and tends to suffer from semi retardation/brain lock in a combat situations.

Hal v6.66 is the UEEF's attempt to recreate the SDF-1's AI who is manic/depressive homicidal/nurturing and has the voice of Darth Vader who has intermittent connections to the ship's systems.

Lieutenant Roy “ Ass Burn “ Fooker
Undaunted by their past failures at cloning the UEDF/UEEF realized that they would need as many experienced combat personal for their mission to find the home world of the Robotech Masters and so the UEDF/UEEF nerd boys attempted to create a Zentraedi Roy Fokker clone.

However due to their imperfect understanding of cloning and the biological degradation of Roy Fokker's DNA what they got was yet more proof that the gods do not take kindly to mortals trying to play god.

Roy is a tall, muscular and devilishly handsome man that has caused many cases “ Need to Change Panties “ among the female crew of the Gargoyle, however Roy get's his nick name from his doggedly determined “ Tailing “ of his enemies and giving them a “ Love Tap. “ on the ass.

Sadly enough this unforeseen combat trait also translates into his inter personal skills with the females of the Gargoyle, which in it'self is not overly a bad thing depending on who you ask among the female crew of the Gargoyle, however Roy has an unnerving tendency to come off as a sado-cruel freakish pervert despite having a heart of gold.

The Saint

The Saint is the son of the Ice Guard's The Believer who along with this platoon of of ninja/Scary Marine like fanatics who were teleported onto the Gargoyle when the salvage operation on a crashed zentraedi flagship when wrong and despite coming off of as WH40k commissars/Space Marines cranked up to 9999 Captain Kirk realized their value as seasoned combat troops and keep them on as the ship's shock troops

The Saint and his troops are dedicated, mind, body, heart and soul to spreading “ The Light “ of the Ice Guards to an uncaring universe.

Lieutenant Alric “ Squid “ Hallmen

Alric and his squad of deep sea troops are from the 37th Deep Ones who were also trying to salvage the zentraedi flagship just to spite the Ice Guard when the malfunction in flagship's fold drive teleported them along side The Saint and his troops onto the Gargoyle.

Needless to say that there is a great deal more tensions on the Gargoyle thanks to the simmering tensions between Alric's sqaud and the Saint and his squad.

Sargent Tuule

Sargent Tuule is a Praxian who suffers from nearly crippling nymphomania as well as androphobia and gynophobia which has her on a hair trigger which causes her to violently lash out at anyone who she thinks is hitting on her despite her coming on to others and given her incredible beauty there is no shortage of people who try to make time with her despite her ranging insaity.

Also to make matters worse she had a drug habit that makes her all the more tense on and off the battle field.

The 2088th ship Gargoyle is the unholy love child of the unholy offspring of an Ark Angel/Ikazuchi pairing and a mutant love child of a SDF class ship and a Zentraedi Nupetiet-Vernitzs flag ship that the 2088th has been asigned to.

To make matters worse the ship's fold drive disappeared after it's first use, either because of a design flaw or deliberate sabotage sending the 2088th to who knows where(different galaxy, universe, dimension)

The Gargoyle is a barely self sufficient with many systems and sub systems needing content repair/monitoring.

The ship's complement of mecha and vehicles consist most of experimental prototypes and defective mecha and vehicles that should have been scrapped a long time ago.

Potential Enemies...

Cun
Cun is the leader of a group called the Inheritors of Zor (IoZ). Cun and "Ham" have a long past (they both dated Sue Graham at the same time, just before she left for Earth), and have sworn vengeance against each other. Despite being Tirolian, Cun speaks with a rich Spanish accent, tends to wear open chested outfits. This tends to cause many cases of “Need to Change Panties“ among any females he encounters.

Col. Standard
Standard is an intelligence officer in the Glorie Military Police. His primary job is to keep the UEEF and any of Earth's other colonies from learning about Glorie's piracy campaign against them. Standard had determined that the 2088th was a threat to Glorie and boarded the Gargoyle in an attempt sabotage the ship and make it's destruction look like an accident.

Trapped where ever they, are he continues his mission in various disguises with no success.

These guys are going to view Mauve Squadron as an 'Elite Unit', aren't they?

That depends if Mauve Squad got transfered to the 2088th before the Gargoyle made it's one way trip to where ever.

Com'on, give these guys SOME genre-savvy.
In fact, they might be OVERLY genre-savvy to the point where they accidentally trigger diplomatic incidents or botch First Contacts because the aliens, though friendly and eager to communicate, are reptilean/insectoid, toothsome, don't wear obvious technology/artifacts, and like damp, dim environs("YOU'RE NOT LAYING EGGS IN -MY-CHEST!!!" *BRAPPABRAPPABRAPPABTAPPA*)

It's in part because they have no genre-savvy and caused some problems when it came to first contact as well as being screw ups in the first place that they got a one way ticket to where ever, the UEEF's thinking concerning the 20088th is S.E.P.:Some one Else's Problem

Then you have the resident Mad Scientist:
"It's just like a Fold Drive only it doesn't require a ship! It essentially takes you, Folds you, spindles you, then slips you through the cracks and crawlspaces of the universe, then unFolds you at the other end!"
"What if it doesn't unspindle me, but mutilates me instead?"
"Oh fine! Ignore the POSSIBILITIES! Denigrate the SCIENCE with your automatic doubts!!!!"

It helps if the (Mad) Science Officer doesn't have access to the personnel and transfer roster before the Captain does.

One of her copies, yes. The thing about AIs...always make backups(though the parent AI is well-advised to activate them only under condition that the parent AI isn't still around...otherwise, if the copy is as ruthless as the original, it will immediately see its 'parent' as a threat and take action).

Ok then, S&M in RT that is a very BAD Idea, either that or Cun is going for the biker look.

Nazi faeries.....nasty little bastards. Give Section 13 of the GMP the deep willies and more than a few headaches, at least until somebody thought to combine adhesive fly strips with detcord.

The trick is to break their slender elven fingers, by punching them in the nose.

That's ture but I'm more for a good old fashion a** kicking with spike, steel toed combat boots given that most elven scum are basicly wall flowers given their ususaly low PE.

Of course, your chances of finding Nazi elves on the far side of the galaxy are pretty slim.
The Nazi rocket-zombie liches wouldn't tolerate the living bastards on THEIR turf.

True but the two Nazi parties would put aside there diffrences in order to deal with any outsiders who would trespass into their area of control.

Also one would have to consider that it was the living Elven Nazis who created the Nazi rocket liches in the first place with their necro reanimation science/magic combo.

Ahh electric love in the digital age.

You know that sounds like the title of an adult movie that Louie and Janice did one long and loney shift in the engenearing section.

This may be because the bridge crew has taken a page from Vexxarr's handbook and have an industrial electromagnet anchored to the side of his CPU?
