Where else are the Splugorth described indepth?

Unread post by thorr-kan »

Rift Atlantis details Splynn and touches on some of it, but is there anyplace that goes in depth, like the Triax or Phase World books?

ETA: Title change. Where else besides the 2 Atlantis books?

Other than each one seams to be a crime-boss, nope.
(There is a small appearance in R 9.5 But I don't think that one counts toward what is being asked.)
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.

Seems to be all power games, gaining power, holding power, taking power away from everybody else...and maybe taking a vacation every once and while.
Maybe games of conquest are what virtually immortal beings do for fun, but one also has to consider that Splugorth seem to be of the more predatory biological nature, so maybe a lot of it is securing a steady food supply.

But if you want to go gonzo, by all means expose your PCs to the joys of Splugorth choral music, or deciphering runic 'Krythian comic opera.
Or maybe Splugorth troll the internets of alternate worlds, just for laffs.

And the Turning of a Page"

Well the spoogies are known to hate humans, perhaps in other dimensions they are responsible for creating reddit and 4-chan for the purpose of just annoying all of us.

I had always assumed this was Netosa or one of the other Old Ones. Reading through reddit I often feel like I am wandering the insane dreams of a sleeping evil god.

Ah, the Eyeball Squid Conspiracy...why do the right wing conspiracy nuts NEVER pick up on the REAL threats to our sanity?

Thanks for the "help" folks. :-)

Let's try this: where else besides the two Atlantis books are the Splugorth described in depth?

One of the Phase World books briefly describes a Sploogie kingdom as does the Anvil Galaxy book I think.
