Not sure why but I know php forums tend to do that from previous
experiences so I figured I would share this again. there also wasn't a
warning about rules violation or the post being deleted so I'm assuming
it's a bug for now.
I'm currently starting up a rifts campaign for a group that's new to pen
and paper RPG games there are a few experienced players among them
but they only have experience playing Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition
(D&D5E) so far the character creation process has been tedious and
unrewarding which has hindered my abilities to get the game going and
I have been looking for a solution to allow my players to more easily
craft their own characters without me having to babysit them through
the whole process. I realized the other day that the main issue was
my players not being able to either understand or find what they are
looking for on the official character sheet because it's organized differently
and contains a lot of extra content they won't be using for each character
to help them out I created a new character sheet formatted like D&D5E
with the hope that it would allow them to smoothly transition into RIFTS
I rummaged through the rules on this forum and since i'm not posting
licensed content and I built this sheet from the ground up I believe it falls
under fair use so I'll share it so that I can get feedback from experienced
RIFTS players if you see something missing or have any suggestions let
me know and I'll consider it. my goal is to make Rifts as fun as possible
and I'm excited to drag my players through Atlantis with a trading
submarine fighting the coalition and the Splugorth slavers in search of
adventure and money! Any help is appreciated
