Altrain Sportswear – Manufactures a line of sporting goods and equipment that includes clothing and outerwear that functions, at least to a limited extent, as armor. Altrian Sportswear uses specialized synthetics to build protective equipment for sporting purposes.

Name: Grigsby Football Armor
Description: Altrian produces the leading model of Football Armor for amateur use throughout North America. The Grigsby is marketed to the “weekend warrior” types as protective gear that will prevent serious injury and the armor lacks many of the design features common among Juicer Football armor making it legal to possess in the Coalition States. Additionally, the Grigsby is significantly cheaper (though less effective) than standard Juicer Football Armor.
The Grigsby consists of stiff, polymer-faced chest, shoulder, and abdominal pads connected by a rubbery foam compression vest.
AR: 12
SDC: Main Body: 50
Weight and Encumbrance: 8 lbs., -5% to the performance of physical tasks
Cost: 200 credits

Name: Grigsby Football Suit
Description: The Grigsby Football Suit extends the protection afforded by the armor to the upper arms, forearms, thighs, and shins of the wearer. It is slightly more encumbering than the more common Grigsby Football Armor, but it covers far more of the body. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, football players are often a target of derision when they wear the full suit on the football field.

High Tech Advantage (H.T.A.) – H.T.A. makes or modifies their own sets of armor that they sell on the civilian market similar to the way that the company produces and sells its firearms. H.T.A. cannibalizes M.D.C. equipment and resells it to customers that are desperate for some form of personal protective garments. Because this type of protective gear is MDC and features some military technologies, it illegal in many jurisdictions.

UltraDominus Technologies – UltraDominus is a company operating in the Manistique Imperium that produces component parts for armor and vehicles. The company also offers a line of personal protective armors to customers composed of SDC materials. Most of UltraDominus’ offerings are heavy enough and look aggressive enough to convince the wearer of the armor’s efficacy on the battlefield, but a single strike from an MD weapon normally proves this assumption wrong.

Name: Galerius Plate Carrier
Description: The Galerius is the lightest of the armor commonly available from UltraDominus. The Galerius covers only the chest and abdomen, not the arms, head, or legs. The plates used in the Galerius are often MDC plates, but the armor normally comes with SDC plates.

I.S.S. Armory – The I.S.S. Armory is, literally, a collection of retired Coalition Technical Officers that maintain weapons and equipment for the I.S.S. Along with modifying, and sometimes building, Coalition Military weapons for use by I.S.S. agents, the I.S.S. Armory has also developed several armored suits and uniforms for use by I.S.S. agents in situations where the use of Death’s Head Body Armor is not practical.

Name: I.S.S. Armory I.S.S. Armored Uniform
Description: Consisting of a thick tunic, fitted pants, and leather boots, the Armored Uniform looks identical to a standard I.S.S. Uniform, but it is woven with advanced SDC ballistic cloth. The uniform is durable and abrasion resistant and can protect an agent from damage from SDC firearms up to and including most hits by a full-sized, armor piercing rifle round.
AR: 14
SDC: Main Body: 35 SDC Arms: 15 SDC ea. Legs: 20 SDC ea.
Weight and Encumbrance: 6 lbs., No physical penalties
Cost: 1500 credits

Name: I.S.S. Armory I.S.S. Armored Great Coat
Description: This thick great coat is cut so that it can fit over a standard or armored I.S.S. uniform and it looks identical to the standard, full length wool great coat.
AR: 18
MDC: 4
Weight and Encumbrance: 6 lbs., No physical penalties
Cost: 10,000 credits

Name: I.S.S. Armory Bodysuit “Silkies”
Description: Intended to be worn under normal clothing, “Silkies” are a very thin long underwear composed of MDC fibers. While they offer no penalties on physical skills, they do retain body heat and can be uncomfortable in warmer environments. They are fairly rare within the I.S.S. and most agents are unaware of them. The “Silkies” require technologies that are currently diverted to the Coalition State’s primary war efforts, and they are very costly to produce. Only the I.S.S. Armory at Lone Star currently has the equipment to produce these items. Because of the cost these are not readily available even to the agents that request them.
AR: 19
MDC: 3
Weight and Encumbrance: 1 lb., No physical penalties
Cost: 50,000 credits

I think the most important question here is how many layers of these can be worn atop each other.

Thank you...just trying to get some ideas saved for an upcoming introductory campaign. Ever wish Palladium would come out with more canon stuff that outlines the actual playing environment/society?

GI Joe rule applies unless it's 100% penetration, which occurs at an unspecified point.
