The fluff here and their descriptions (batteries of 50+ weapons that fire in unison) make it kind of seem like they can shoot down missile volleys and the like.

Can you target the 'volley' or do you still have to target just one missile and shoot at it and hope for a fratricide?

Personally, for a battery like that, i'd allow for "Sun Wall" or "Wall of Flak" style complete-interdiction, at least at longer ranges. You just put so much metal in the way that every missile gets hit.
"Sun Wall" being a counter-volley that engulfs the entire area the incoming fire is passing through in a conflagration of plasma/other space-effective-explosive so everything in the area is hosed.
Im loving the Foes list; it's the only thing keeping me from tearing out my eyes from the dumb.
