First up is the head of the Seeker chapter for Seattle. Its rather long due to his age.

Nathan Heldon

Nathan was raised by a well to do family in New York state in the years before the Civil War. He was an extremely smart child and the study of history was by far his favorite subject. His plans for going to Harvard though was derailed by the war.

Nathan joined the 107th New York Regiment before the battle of Gettysburg. Full of fear he still fought with distinction in the battle. All was going well till the battle at Wauhatchie Station. In this battle he took a bullet to the shoulder and the stress trigged his first becoming. The good news the battle was fought at night and he was able to slip away in the confusion. The few who saw him were just described as having shell shock. He was presumed captured and his family was told the tragic news.

At first Nathan was full of fear at what he had become. Was he a demon or some sort of spawn of Satan. It took a whole week before he finally calmed down enough to return to his facade. That time was spent hiding in the woods. Back to normal he wanted to know what he was so he headed to New York city. If any answer was available it would be found in the cities many libraries.

In the city he spent several weeks going through the stacks of the libraries. He even went to a number of churches to pray for answers. In time luck turned in his favor as he attracted the attention of a Nightbane. This bane was a members of the Seekers. Adalbert Bauer brought Nathan to his house and spent a long night answering his many questions.

Adalbert became a mentor to Nathan and taught him everything he needed to know about being a Bane. Seeing his intelligence Nathan was brought into the Seekers. He contacted his family and let them know he was OK. The Seekers then helped him achieve his dream by getting him into Harvard. He got a degree in Archeology and went to grad school for his PhD.

Working for the Seekers took him around the world looking for clues to the past of the Nightbane. He soon became one of the most respected scholars in the Seekers. The greatest discovery was finding a tomb of an ancient Nightbane in Egypt who is believed to have fought in the war against the Nightlords. During this time he lost all contact with Adalbert. He searched for him for several years but could not find him.

It was mostly a quiet life until he was sent to France in 1943 to check on rumors that the Nazi were researching Nightbane. His search led him to a Nazi occupied castle. What he didn't expect was to find his old mentor there. Adalbert had joined the Nazi. Seems he had became convinced it was possible to create new Nightbane. His job was to make an army of them for the Nazi.

Nathan was shocked to see his mentor doing such things. He had learned the magic of the Fleshsculptors since they last saw each other and was doing gruesome experiments on captured Nightbane. Nathan tried to talk him into leaving the Nazi but his heart had became twisted. When asked why he had betrayed the Seekers all he would say is they would pay for their arrogance.

Nathan after a fierce fight was able to destroy the lab and put an end to the Nazi plans. In the confusion Adalbert was able to escape. In the years since Nathan has been hunting him down. This chase had lead him through many countries. The Soviet Union during the 50's and Vietnam in the 60's. He was last seen in Africa in the 80's.

In 1994 the leadership decided it was time for fresh blood to be in charge of the pursuit. Nathan was sent to Seattle, WA to be in charge of the local Seekers chapter. His cover is the Archeology Department Head at the University of Washington. Nathan still keeps track of the search for his old mentor.

Description: In his Facade form he looks like an average white male. Has a light blond hair with blue eyes. In Morphus form he is a 7 foot tall Werewolf with white angelic wings sprouting from his back.
Disposition: Nathan is a very serious person but can make a joke now and then. Would rather be reading a book then in the field anymore. The betrayal of his mentor could have made him not likely to trust others. Instead it has made him earnest to be a better mentor himself to the young Nightbane. Has a deep hatred for anyone who betrays the Seekers.
