Astral Dreams

Between the Shadows touches on how the Astral Planes and Dream Streams interact in several places.

Pg 44 mentions "Mixed Domain" and notes (uniquely, since this doesn't actually get mentioned in the section on the Dreamstream itself) that telepathy + astral projection/transference can be used to dreamdance. Projecting is dangerous since the person waking severs the cord if going beyond their pool. Them waking while you're in the pool presumably doens't sever it though.

Pg 85 mentions "mixed domains" are simply pools and astral domains linked by portals. Pg 95 mentions Makers can make a portal to a region of the Astral Plane. Pg 55 on the other hand only allows Lords/Mages to make astral portals to earth or Nightlands, no mention of dreamstream. Presumably a movable portal would be one way though.

Going back to 44 it mentions that dream travelers can, via portals, enter the astral plane. This is straightforward enough if using Dreamdance Superior, presumably it just converts you into Astral Transference...

But what exactly happens if someone is using Dreamdance Minor (their body stays in the real world) and then has their dreamself step through a portal into an astral realm? This seems like a much safer way than astral projection to interact with astral realms since you can't actually die.

It also begs other questions: could someone using dreamdance minor in an astral realm then step back into their realm from their pool and have their astral dreamself look over and protect their physical body?

Also, ignoring the astral plane for a second, what happens if a dream maker has a portal from their dream pool to earth, uses the minor (non-body) dreamdance, and then steps through the portal? It does mention with the Dream Window power for example that dream beings can exist within a close radius of it. Would this include a maker's dreamself?
