the books say that Hounds take half damage from normal weapons/damage, normal damage from spells/psionics, double damage from Talents/Nightbane powers.
Hunters on the other hand take half damage from normal weapons/damage but double damage from "Artifact weapons & powers".
is that Artifacts, magic weapons, and Nightbane powers, or only Artifact related weapons/powers? do they have the same vulnerability to Talents & magic that Hounds have or are they tougher?

Re: Hunters & Hounds vulnerabilities
It appears they are only vunable to artifact weapons and artifact powers in particular. it might be an ommission, but in absence of any other text one has to assume they are not vunerable to spells and talents like normal hounds are.

Re: Hunters & Hounds vulnerabilities
yeah, I noticed that one myself. I strongly suspect it is a mistake, but as this is what it says in the book, this is what I go with. The Hound Masters and Great Hounds are also different vulnerability-wise.

This is why you have the Nightbanes tank the Hounds and the Sword Wielders snipe the Hunters.
