Rifter #62 pages 46 and 47

even without access to said Rifter the book is hardly useless.
Just look for an appropriate pre-existing XP table and use it.

Every group has one problem player. If you cannot spot the one in your group; look in the mirror.
It is not a good session until at least one player looks you in the eye and says "you sick twisted evil ****"

I agree that is an easy work around, but I also think this errata should be available without having to purchase a Rifter to get it.

Agreed. But we are not the decision makers at PB.
So we do what we must.

Greetings and Salutations. I believe (like 90% sure, but on my phone at work and can't confirm) that the tables are included in the Rifter #62 Free Preview over at DriveThruRPG. That can be, of course, downloaded for free. Hope that helps. Farewell and safe journeys.
Living the Fantasy (fan website)

Rifter #45; Of Bows & Arrows (Archery; expanding rules and abilities)
Rifter #52; From Ruins to Runes (Living Rune Weapons; playable characters and NPC)
Rifter #55; Home Away From Home (Quorian Culture; expanded from PF Book 9: Baalgor Wastelands)

Official PDF versions of Rifter #45, #52, and #55 can be found at DriveThruRPG.

It is, you are correct. The errata is available without having to purchase the book.

Comparing the charts in the Rifter with those in the Rifts Game Master Guide yields the following equivalencies (among many others):

Code: Select all

Black Market Banker          City Rat/Vagabond
Case Man                     Monkey Boy Tech/Tundra Ranger Scout/Salvage Expert
Con Artist                   Freelance Spy/Smuggler/Thief
Enforcer                     Combat Soldier/Marine
Expediter                    Cyber-Doc/Rogue Scientist/Rogue Scholar
Information Broker           Mystic/CS Naval Infantryman/Tundra Ranger
Merchant                     City Rat/Vagabond
Raider                       Mystic/CS Naval Infantryman/Tundra Ranger
Refurbisher                  Operator/Wilderness Scout
Rift Runner                  Hunter Cat/Sekhmet/Master Blood Rider/Achilles Serpentoid
There you go man, keep as cool as you can.
Face piles of trials with smiles. It riles
them to believe that you perceive the web they weave
and keep on thinking free.
