I got my copies of Rifter 83 and the Rifts Beastiary yesterday. Alas, I have to get ready for Gen Con, so I only managed a quick flip through. Anyone get theirs yet?

I got my bestiary but have not had a chance to take a look yet as I have been busy with visiting guests.

My Bestiary and Rifter 83 arrived today.

I have only had the chance to read the first 23 pages of Bestiary, basically through the Agenor. Good so far.

I just skimmed the Rifter but it looks good and I am going to be very sad after Rifter 84 comes out knowing that it will be the last.

I'll have to wait until the 2019 Grabbag to get my next wave of books.

Apparently despite ordering a file of data bytes, I have to wait a WEEK after everyone else to get my Insider PDF. Makes no sense & I'm not amused. I've always gotten my PDF within 3 days of release if not day of.

Perhaps Gencon delayed things?

And you will as it is tied to the Megaversal Insider and the Hardcovers NOT the general release. They already announced it would be sent out the 12th, or three days after the Hardcovers are supposed to ship. They were quite up front about the PDF shipping the same time as the Hardcovers as i recall so being upset is a bit silly.

Where did they say other than right before softback release, that the Insiders wouldn't get their PDFs until nearly 2 weeks after?

Because I don't remember seeing that in the actual Insider offer.
And again, as I said, I would have been very surprised since I've been an Insider all THREE previous times, each time getting at least the PDF option. Which arrived on/about softback release day. Not 2 weeks later.

Well as it is part of the insider and they were VERY up front from the get go that insiders would be taken care of AFTER standard release....and have since said in their own updates that the pdf would be the 12th (so roughly the same day the insider hard copies would be delivered to most people I guess) how about there?

Seriously, if THIS bothers you that much I suggest you either NOT take part in crowd funding OR instead of complaining here where no one of note will actually see it, call the damn office and ask. Talk about first world problems jeez.

1. As I said, I didn't remember seeing that during the Insider. Apparently I was wrong.
2. They hadn't before waited until hardback delivery to deliver a bunch of electrons, hence my surprise they were doing that this time.
3. Thank you ever so much for your suggestion. As I said, I've been down this road w/ Palladium for all the other Insiders, and they hadn't done PDF delivery this way before. Last time I checked, consumers can complain, just as they compliment. Which I've done several times to the point I can tell when Wayne's answered the phone vs someone else. If I didn't like their products, given their track record over the past 33 years, I wouldn't bother w/ Insiders, any of their products, or replace my paper collection with legal PDF versions, much less run games in their system.

Yes consumers can complain but being surprised by this is completely on you when I, someone who didn't take part in this, knew about this and have told you twice about it so you being upset isn't a complaint, it's whining since you yourself should have known.
PB did their part by informing people. You didn't bother to keep yourself updated or informed. That's your problem not theirs.

1: Palladium doesn't have anything resembling 'standard' release for PDFs because PDFs at time of publication are not standard for Palladium.
2: You were -TOLD BEFORE HAND- When the PDFs would go out.

If you didn't read it, that's not on Palladium.

Don't get me wrong, if Palladium does something off, I'm one of the first to point it out. In this case you're whining about something you were directly told would happen. You can complain, but it's silly. It's not Palladium's fault you didn't read it.

If you call up to complain so much to Palladium, that you know the people by voice...... Well. That might say something too. I mean sure there's a limited number of them, but still. That seems a little telling.

Re read my comment. I said I call to compliment as well. More often, than to complain.
And I already said that I apparently missed the release timeframe in the original Insider post. You're right, that's on me.
