I have a digital entry sheet that I originally created for Splicers that is really just a glorified .docx with text boxes.

I'm most of the way done with an excel spreadsheet that, so far, allows for skill selection from a drop down box, calculates skill percentage wit IQ bonus, Auto inputs attrib bonuses. Can random roll stats based on drop down race selection takes into account bonus before or after attrib multipliers, if a HTH skill is selected in inserts the name and bonuses in the combat sheet and accounts for lvl. If a WP is selected in the skills area it will auto fill on the combat sheet. Also have drop down selection for alignments. I only have data for human and a test dragon for stats and only skills from dead reign's main book. Currently working on integrating classes classes. A world selector so someone that picks Dead Reign only sees Dead Reign skills and classes.

So I take it PB no longer calls in the lawyers with C&D letters for such things, as it did "back in the day"?

Dave, to the best of my knowledge, Pally never sicced the lawyers on people if the material was freely distributed. If they did, all the character sheets I D/L'ed back in the 90's would have disappeared faster than they did.

Ummm, when PB yused to offer the buggy and broken character creator program on the cutting room floor, several years later someone offered to fix the old (I think it was some variant of C or Vis Basic) for free, just to have a decent working program.
The response was, shall we say, less than receptive.

They can't. It has never been released to anyone other than my gaming group. When I get it working properly I will offer it to them. It would also still require use of the books because there is no skill descriptions. I'm not about to put the nitty-gritty down for acrobatics and gymnastics either.

I think that was partly they wanted to have it "go away"...
They only put it (on the CRF) because enough people got in their faces about wanting it again.
