Re: Dodges and Combat Clairification

Total house rule but it has worked well at my table. First, any perceived attack can be attempted by a defender. So if somebody attacks from behind the defender must know its coming. If a character doesn't posses the Multiple Dodge skill, then the character must roll a dodge for each incoming attack...

Re: Mutant animal Total BIO-E seems really low

Thanks Nate. It's worked really well so far. Works great for the PC's and major NPC's in my games. Just got to watch for the power creep especially if you add super powers. Avoid Extraordinary abilities, MA's usually get enough attribute boosts.

Some of the first games I played in involved mutant animals with super powers. The PC's were human classes and we had to stop these empowered MA's. They were some tough builds. Very enjoyable, watched a lot of good characters die. Lol As far as mixing guidelines the mutant class has a psionics roll....

I have found, after making several mutant animals, that 10-15 more Bio-E is great for most concepts envisioned by my players and I. Make a roll out of it or just give it away after a convincing plea for making or breaking their concept. I allow a lot a leeway for good story driven reasons that don't...
