4/4 Edit: I’ve heard back from Palladium and there doesn’t seem to be any issue providing the PDFs. They want another confirmation that is the only exchange I want.

That is good news. I had hoped to play RRT with my son, and since that's not a possibility now, I wanted him to have the .pdfs

I've been at the $140 level since day one. Right now I am looking at topping out at $300 that I can't really spend.

Looks like some of my other minis are finally going to hit e-bay so I can afford some hot Robotech action.

Honestly... this will make me order even more than the new Robotech books.

Robotech brought me into Palladium about 15-16 years ago, and having it redone, reprinted, re-whatever will make me even happier.

I thought I'd bump this back up to the top with a little update....

Looks like I'm already going to start working on what games and adventures I'm going to run for Origins. Unlike last year, I'd like to be a little more prepared....lol.

It's sad when you show up to run 4 games and forget all ...

So I'm already working on next year's convention games (not getting caught like last summer), and I'm curious what the majority of people posting would prefer to play.

I went with Invid Invasion last time to open things up to just about any mecha/OCC combination, then made it a low powered game ...

I went with Southern Cross, myself.

I had the FHE tapes of Macross in college, and even turned a couple of people onto the series just from those.

I don't really know why I like Southern Cross better than the other two. Maybe because the obligatory, obnoxious, loud-mouthed, "I wish she was ...

I basically live right where Psyscape pops up. Right in the Magic Zone. Hmmmm. My collection of powertools against the hordes of demons, evil mages, megaversal scavengers and assorted well-wishers.


I'm toast within minutes. Might be fun while it lasts, though.

I've never actually done even a thinly-veiled sort of conversion. I take generalities and come up with my own stuff from there, usually.

Weapons Masters never have bows.
Super Soldiers never have shields.
Magic Weapons never have hammers or swords.

Well, if you're doing Origins, you better do GenCon also, Omote.

Origins is for GMing. GenCon is for playing (for me). You know I didn't even know about the compensation for volunteering (GMing)??? I just figured they wanted all that info for keeping track of stuff and planning for next year ...

I ran one of the aforementioned Robotech games. I just hope mine isn't the one that sucked....lol. I was the GM for "Festival of Blight" on Friday morning at 10:00am.

Setting- Invid Invasion, starting in a small town east of a smallish Genesis Pit.

Plot- Crops are dying out all around ...

For annoyance factor: Minmei all the way. This is the sort of person I will actively avoid in my day to day life. Everything is drama. I can't stand that.

Just because I like counterpoint in my role-playing, I'll typically go either way. If the rest of the party is fairly good, then I'll be the baddy. If they're all Diabolic menaces, then I'll play the Scrupulous one.

However, if I don't have a clue what alignment the rest of the folks are playing ...

Realistically, the CS would probably consider me a sort of Rogue Scholar. Or since I basically live where Psyscape supposedly is, hopefully I'd be some sort of combat enabled psionic. Which means I'd most likely still be bereft of psi ability and be basically living off the good graces of Psyscape ...

This one is a tough call for me.....
