I'm not seeing it or remembering ever seeing it, neither the agony thing or the initials thing. Sounds like house rules your GM (or you if you are GM) misremembered and thought was cool. Happens to the best GM's. I know I've had moments where I realized years later a rule I took for granted as canon...

Psychics do not have any kind of immunity to or even resistance to Soulmancy. Rather, Nxla's non-soulmancy related powers are not very effective against Psychics.

It occurred to me that since Soulmancy is fueled by souls, if you wanted to have a high supply of souls, you would want to breed a minion race with a high rate of birth, short gestation periods, and short maturation periods. You would push them to reproduce as much as possible, and after the adults...

So I guess another question might be how long you can go avoiding the casting of a spell without forgetting it, since practicing that skill would be OOC for someone wanting to rise above Anarchist alignment. Makes me wonder if there's any small window to resurrect a demon via magic the way you would a human prior to them getting caught in that amnesiac reincarnation spiral. Well, maybe if they had a spell that would let them put a soul into a gem instead of passing on into reincarnation. Then you could...

Alignments can go up as well as down. A villian could start as Evil, become good through years or centuries of Redemption, and then fall to temptation and revert to being anarchist or evil again. Re: would mortal Soulmancers also forget Soulmancy on death?
Humans are not demons. The process of reincarnation specifically affects a demons memory.
e.g. it is not death that makes demons forget soulmancy. It's the process of demon-specific reincarnation. Humans don't go through that process and so are unaffected by it.

This is a general question for fun. Lets face it, the setting of Ninja's and Superspies, such as it is, and what there is of it, is horribly outdated.
