Re: Gerneral Rifts Question: Biggest Perceived Weaknesses
I feel that alot of the "bugs" are actually "features". Throwing balance out the window was intentional. Having some classes being as effectively* as powerful as they'll ever be, and others desperately requiring leveling up was intentional. Letting the players & GMs decide i...

Re: Why is there a "Limit" on Vampire's and using Technology
Another point you need technology to repair and maintain technology. When your in the wilds of northern Mexico the MD breast plate that gets damaged is not easy to repair. When you are in human territory the shops that repair such things tend to be open during the day, and tend not to like vampires...

Re: Gerneral Rifts Question: Biggest Perceived Weaknesses
i didn't remember simultaneous strike working outside of melee range, but it also never really came up not many characters want to take MD straight damage if they can avoid it, especially a borg that takes too much and dies, unlike PA pilot who loses the armor but not his nessisarily his life person...

I would look forward to the "bard" spells relating to the Bag Pipes in such a book hahah. Perhaps some HU2e bagpipe sound based powers snuck in there too. I kinda agree all highlanders should be MD creatures by nature hahah. hmm actually with the pipes and drums i could totally see that m...

i know at least a few (line bolt i think was one?) say they need to be in the ground near a ley line and from what i remember that was one of the more offensive 'spells' though even printed on rugs or whatever means you need to carry a few of them at least, or pick it up and run from place to place ...

Re: Offensive spells of interest
well a ley line walker would be seen with thermal sensors from the GB at a pretty vast range, Only if the GB is looking directly at him; if he's invisible and sneaking around to the side of the battlefield, the GB has no reason to look in that direction, as, visually and to radar/etc, there's nothi...

i don't remember seeing a gem suit, but with the bomber jackets and such being more tech themed as well as the guns a lot of weapons use, they could decide to just stylize the housing with a gem look (not like they are trying to hide any affiliation with magic they are a joining of the two so i figu...

well you could be sure it is a natural gem if you 1) dig it out of the rock yourself at a mine 2) deal with reputable merchants only or 3) make a modular TW device, one you can replace the gem with one you are buying, if the device works it's natural , if it doesn't then it isn't and i never thought...

TRIAX 2 has a section with SDC vehicles followed with rules and prices for MDC ones of the same type and they do sell them (also the book notes not many americans recognize the brand as being from triax so they arn't popular , which would mean they could never sell it even at a fraction of the cost)

i like it as is though an updated version with more info would be nice, but even better maybe an update on what has happened and changed (i haven't read the CS wars yet but i imagine at least a few mages fled to wormwood)
