Robotech Vs. Macross factory satellite.
So a quick questoin--why did the robotech source material make the satellite so small in comparison to Macross? It seems to be a decision with little logic behind it.

Intro: When the SDF-1 crashed, one thing that became plain was that the mysterious power source, protoculture, that existed on the ship was not infinite, especially since the UEF never found the hidden matrices. So, I was going through all my old stuff, and I came across robotech material. It's a bit... Saddening. Robotech the RPG, at least the Palladium RPG is rapidly fading into the past. nobody in my area plays it (hell, few know of it). So most of my books are going into storage or possibly, one day, Eb...

I think that was a big problem, and it of course wasn't Palladium's fault. I think it's pretty clear that between them, UEEG and genesis pits were setting up for some interesting stuff, and a lot of plans got cut completely short by the decision to pull the license.

Now granted, Shadow Chronicles suffered from A. HG doing very little with it, B. evidently having a lot more editorial control, and C. the license getting pulled. But for all that it gave us such "gems" as Lancer's Rockers, I cannot help but feel that the first edition had a lot more room ...
