It sounds like you're basing that on the description within Savage Rifts. Within Palladium Rifts, and with the exception that the tattoo of a flaming sword doesn't make an actually flaming weapon, that is what the tattoos do. Even in Savage rifts it doesnt do that. It can be used as a Holy synbol. ...

They get two marks of heritage - a flaming sword and a heart impaled by a stake. The former can damage vampires, and the latter creates a wooden stake and a cross in the Atlantean's hands, in addition to making them impervious to vamp slow kill and mind control. No that is Not what that tattoo does...

True Atlantean Marks of Heritage

In Savage Rifts the flaming sword tatoo has the Silver and Fire Trapping. so you can stake a vampire....In Palladium I cant find anything that spacifies. But that started the Tradition to deal with Vampires. SO i would think they do....but it is unclear

The problem is perception is a skill and should be percentage based. Also if you make skills additive with the goal being to get higher than 100 you can compare results higher result wins

of course because palladium is not map friendly those radiuses are difficult to determine.

Wearing bullet proof armor is not illegal in the US. It is perfectly legal to do so. It is not legal to do it while committing a crime. Ah so if it worn as a concealed suit would there be issues? So far i have seen a bunch of rules lawyers arguing about what a rules lawyers is and making a wonderful example of why people dislike rules lawyers. 8 pages arguing about rules lawyers... do you guys not see the irony at all?

Or 1 opponent with the Undead slayer playing the tank. Or the Vagabond acts like infantry today act around tanks. Hid in cover and fire rockets etc. Keep moving to new cover.

The problem I see comes from the difficulty in the GM setting up challenging encounters because it is really hard to judge the various power levels and keep players on some sort of parity in regards to combat. IE keeping it from being a cake walk for 1 player or a death trap for every one else. IE h...

I have to say I really dislike how perception is handled. Skills that would affect perception do not get handled well because a D20 roll vs. a percentage based roll with no system for opposed rolls that I can see....The fact that some classes get a perception bonus and others make no mention of it...

Looks like a good setup. My only issue is assuming the Heart wrapped in chains tattoo is a given. There are two armor giving tattoos, the knight in armor and the heart in chains, and one is clearly far superior to the other. I've always figured that most young T-men get stuck with the Knight in Arm...

i think what is more important than balance is an easy way to judge the capabilities of the individual players and monsters. And to understand how things interact. Which I think Palladium is lacking helping GM's judge this.

All I want it to do is add up things.

These sheets are just the picking of options. and tallying totals. so I think excel will work fine. I just not sure how to do radio buttons or drop downs or how to have the result show up on a separate sheet for printing etc.

One thing this review did not cover is the fact that the organization in this edition is.....well i don't have a word to describe how bad the organization is. Some things are better. But my god trying to find what you need when you need it... well that is kind of a lost ause.
