The Three Sisters (Taiji, Bagua, and Xing Yi) at their higher levels are actually very dynamic in their transition between fast and slow, soft and powerful movements. It's just very rarely seen nowadays. Of course, this applies to really almost any art that focuses on use of internal energy dynamics...

Yep, martial artist here, of course. I'm on my fifth year for Fujian Tiger (a southern infighting school), second (or is it third? I keep losing track) for Chen style Taiji, and a small bit of northern Shaolin that I started out with right before going into Fujian Tiger. Personally, I feel a lot of ...

Cost of a Mansion

Does anyone have a good guestimate as to how much it would cost to afford a mansion somewhere in the Western Empire, say, around Caer Kurgas? A character of mine wants to buy one, but I have a feeling she's going to be needing a lot of tips and dungeon crawls...

The term eventually came to refer to medium infantry by the time of Frederick the Great (of Prussia). They still have Dragoons...

They're really the same thing. The trident is the type of weapon (Tiger forks are all tridents, but not tridents are tiger forks). Similar to how a lot of cultures have swords, but they're all different.

Either way, Tiger Fork requires two hands. Now, a lighterweight trident is a different story.l

Mantisking would be correct. Tiger forks are made pretty damn heavy. They need to be when you consider their original use (tiger hunting).

I always figured Elven to be like Latin, commonly spoken by the well learned and in this case, those who travel a lot. That said, those who probably don't adventure/travel much, or aren't terribly rich, might only speak their regional human dialect (or their racial language of choice). While Elven i...
