Re: Dead Reign... without the zombies?
So, I have this question for everyone. Is there anyone else out there that likes the idea of using most of what Dead Reign has without using the zombies part of it? To some, I am sure that this defeats the point and purpose of the game, sure. But really, what do you get when you take away the zombi...

Re: A gritty list of powers?
One place to start is looking at nature - if a power (or a close approximation of it) exists in the natural world, then the likelihood (in a superhero game, even a gritty one) that it can be gene-engineered into a human is highly likely. Most of HU's powers ARE gritty, street-level. Remove about 10...

The rule of thumb I'd use (and this is a GM decision): IF the OCC provides Skill X, THEN the PC gets prerequisite Skill Y as normal value with OCC bonuses for that skill category. Corollary: IF the PC chooses Skill X (for whatever category of skill), THEN Skill Y must also be chosen (for a category ...

Not sure about a true errata. However, Extraordinary PS is the only power that has a minimum level (unless your pre-power PS base is already over 20). One of the strengths of Palladium's magic system is that any spell can be a ritual or an invocation. I was introduced to this magic system through BTS1, so it really struck a chord with me.
