I am done with this game. I put several more hours into it tonight and glued 10 pieces together after combing the pieces over and over again until my eyes started bugging out - not even enough for a complete mech. Not even sure I am gluing the correct pieces together, so I might end up 20 hours down...

Most zombies don't bother to dodge or parry. That takes intelligence and they are mindless.

I don't have the book in front of me right now, but I think only the Thinker and perhaps the Flesh Eater contain enough intelligence to attempt a dodge or parry.

in 2nd ed you are supposed to be -10 to parry arrows, and unable to parry magical projectiles unless you have a shield, in which case you should actually have a bonus to do so. also, you you take dual wield:shield+sword you can do some pretty fun things in combat Thanks, I did not see that anywhere...

I really enjoyed the review. It did nail down what makes the game so great.

Our gaming group is having a blast with the game. We just finished our first 2 session story arc. We survived the zombies, but we are not stuck on a yacht in the Caribbean. Time to find someplace safe to land ;)

We use the rules straight from RUE and we use the Compendium of Contemporary Weapons.

What book contains the best character sheet?

I was wondering what book contains what you guys think is the best overall version of a Rifts character sheet?

I am looking for a generic character sheet (i.e. not one for warriors, one for casters, etc, etc) for a personal project I am going to be working on.

My answer to the OP would be "Cause it's freaking cool!".

I am not a weapons expert or a physicist, but a 10' tall robot shooting a big freaking gun that causes glass to shatter for a 300' radius is awesome, and therefore good enough for me.

Does the Palladium Fantasy RPG have a true Swashbuckling type OCC in any of the books?
