Possibly, they wont release the actual spec on the either tanks armor. Its TOP SECRET, double hush, hush. So compisitions may be very similar. Hard to say, need more info they wont give us.

25th aviation has some good info for a LRRP campaign. This is a random encounter table I used for LRRP game. (I used Ninjas and Super Spys but it could be used for RECON very easily.) Table Its in the second post.

I missed the show. Did they only use a 9mm? They tested a 9mm, .12 ga. slug, 5.56mmx45 NATO, (I think a .308, but not sure) and a .50 cal. from the Barret M82A1. The .12 ga. slug blew a hole in the plexiglass tank they were initially using- so they moved to an indoor pool for the rest of the tests....

I thought it was interesting to note how protective body armour does almost nothing against assault rifles and larger rounds... Those were flack jackets without plate. By the way AKSU-74 is chambered for the 5.45x39mm cartridge. Ballistically about the equivilant to 5.56x45mm (.233) that the M-16 fires. I would up the damage to the same as an M-16.

If I were to choose a service it would be Army. When I was eighteen I would have wanted to be 18B: Special Forces Weapons Sergeant. Now that I'm significantly older. I would be more likely to choose 92Y: Unit Supply Specialist as thats pretty close to what I do now in regular life.
