Is there any info about Rifts New Zealand and the So. Pac.?
I am very new to this. However, I have been playing since 1995. My main interests (as far as geographical is concerned) is New Zealand and the South Pacific. My query is to find out if there is any Palladium literature regarding New Zealand and the South Pcific in great detail. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't think the Maoris would appreciate being compared to the Aborigines either, or vice versa.
I'd get up in the morning and watch the sun rise over the yardarm of my sky-ship as the sails billowed in the breeze and the land slid by 300-odd metres below. I'd grasp the mahogany ship's wheel, turn her nose a few points back onto the line, and feel pity for all those poor bastards below who have to work for a living. - My idea of the good life in Rifts.

No. But they are not ruled out yet either. I was told in an email late last year that the situation with Australia II & III may be reviewed by mid next year. So we may hear something within the next couple of months...maybe...

Brother Cors here has it right. It may seem logical to have it as an extension of Oz, but thats like saying that Canada is an extension of America.

I do have ideas for New Zealand and a few other South Pacific countries. I am still putting them together on paper and contemplating about sending it to Palladium for a possible publishing. May be wishful thinking, but will never know unless I try.

boy is that the truth. I think that the problem with that is that there'd have to be an exorbadent amount of reasurch done in order to do it as accuratly as to keep up with the high standards of PB.
