I think a book on Post Great Cataclysm/Pre-NGR Germany can work.

It can Revealed More on how Europe was before the coming of the Rifts.

IT can give the names of the Cities where the Bigest Numbers of Survivors go After it! (they are the Future 6 Big cities of the NGR)
