Re: SDC of Weapons
See PFRPG2, page 46 (second column, last paragraph on the page) which clearly states weapons have an average of 50 S.D.C.

"The Compendium of Weapons, Armor, & Castles" has in its listing of the Anchent weapons their SDC values.
Re: SDC of Weapons
My house rules are as follows.
You have to target the weapon (with your physical or magical attack).
For normal weapons you have to do at least 3 times the weapons
max damage to have a chance to break it. This gives you a base chance
of 30% to break non-metal weapons and 20% to break metal weapons.
Every point of damage over 3 times the weapons max damage is another
percentage point onto the break chance.
Kobold weapons have to be subjected to 4 times the weapons max
damage and the break chance is 25%/15% respectively.
Dwarven weapons have to be subjected to 5 times the weapons max
damage and the break chance is 20%/10% respectively.
Magic weapons have to be subjected to 10 times the weapons max
damage and the break chance is 15%/ 5% respectively.
Indestructible magic weapons are just that -- very sturdy.
