Hey guys:

If I were to run a strictly 1st edition Palladium Fantasy game, which resources would I use?

Island at the Edge of the World, I am not sure if they have printed a 2ed version of Yin-Sloth as of yet. Other players more familiar with PF can answer you better than I can.

1st ed old ones
1st ed high seas
1st ed monsters and animals
yin sloth jungles
island at the end of the world
adventures in the northern wilderness and further adventures.
Dragons and gods, is second ed but I prefer the toughness of the gods and dragons from this.
The 2nd ed ones do help as they often have background info and maps and things and its pretty easy to convert.

I play a heavily house ruled first ed mostly, with a fair few things nicked out of second ed.
for example a wizard uses first ed rules for magic, a sorcerer uses ppe and spells from second ed and a magus uses the magic system from 2nd ed dnd (i.e has to memorise spells).

Being a wizard was more interesting in 1st edition since you could only drink human blood to learn spells.

Second edition makes elf/dwarf/gnome blood good too if I remember right.

That wasn't the only way, you could learn spells from other wizards, priests and alchemists and learn from scroll or a boon from a greater power.

I meant human's was the only type of blood that could be drank when using the self-taught option.
