I've been working on a RIFTS novel chapter by chapter and putting it up on WattPad for free on a more or less weekly basis. I have no idea why I didn't post this sooner (I'm gonna write it off to all of the projects I have going and not enough time) but I'm sharing it now. It's up to 9 chapters (about 11,000 words).

I will keep this thread updated as each part comes out.

THREADS: A Story of the Megaverse

Set in the worlds created by Palladium Books® THREADS is the tale of Meg Carson, a woman jerked from her place in time and space and thrust into a horrific future.

While primarily set in the Rifts© Universe THREADS incorporates elements from all of Palladium's® offerings.

Just an update, due to my editor moving from upstate New York to America's wang there will be several weeks before the release of chapter 12 and beyond.

Sorry for the delays on THREADS, the Edi-Tor is still in transit to Florida. It'll still be a few weeks before the series resumes (although I'm banking chapters) so with that in mind I'm putting the first book of the SHORES OF THE DEAD SERIES (the Rising) up for free on Amazon Kindle.

Sorry, what I meant by this is I'd prefer to read it all in one go when it's complete. That's why I was wondering. Regardless, thank you!

I didn't approach it as a RIFTS story, to me it's just a post apocalyptic fantasy tale.

Not sure if this is a typo or not but about halfway through Mayor Reynolds says, "When Marku and the Needles held the D times were better, then the Thorns came and we've lived in fear ever since." I'm not sure if D times is a term I'm missing or a typo.

The D is what the locals call Old Detroit, needs a comma.

Didn't know about this. I have read the first 2 chapters. The writing is tight and clean so far. Very enjoyable.

My editor does a one pass on them, really it should get the three pass treatment but she's doing it for free and the story gnerates no direct revenue.
