Movement on a new Chaos Earth sourcebook?

Unread post by Jason Richards »

I haven't heard it yet, but apparently Kevin said tonight on the podcast that he's considering taking a look at First Responders very soon. Good news, right! The sooner that gets done, the sooner I can get to working on Psychic Storm.

If you were to drop Kevin a PM, telling him how excited you are for more CE stuff, it probably wouldn't go unnoticed. :)

And First Responders was listed in the press release. I can't wait for this book and will pre-order as soon as it becomes available.

I don't really have the authority to do that, but here's what I CAN do: I did the mark-ups for Rise of Magic's second printing many, many moons ago (much like I did for the second printing of the core RPG), and I notice that it is apparently finally about to be reprinted. In that, I certainly mentioned that the XP tables were missing.

Assuming that at least some of my marks get picked up in the second printing, I'll write the errata between the first and second printings (again, much like I did for the second printing of the core RPG).

So, while I can't guarantee that YOUR tables will be included, I'll definitely include the second printing XP tables in the official errata.

If your book gets printed before mine, I'm gonna take your mom out to a nice seafood dinner and then never call her again.

I'm actually really hoping First Responders does come out first. Some of the material in my book won't make much sense unless you've seen First Responders.

And what is your book going to be?
I am very opinionated. Yes I rub people the wrong way but at the end of the day I just enjoy good hard discussion and will gladly walk away agreeing to not agree :D

well, apparently its a "secret project" so i'm not sure how much i can say about it. but if you want a hint, look at the Dead Reign RPG, page 55, second to last paragraph.
