THE PRICE OF GAS
I am starting a game and discovered that there is no listing for the average cost of gasoline, diesel, or kerosene yet a lot of stuff uses it, anybody got suggestions?

Well... most stuff uses the same price in all games, regardless of wether the currency is gold, dollars, or credits. So you could just use modern prices. Then again, the cost of gas today is exponentially higher than the cost of drilling and refining it by hand in a post-apocalyptic world...

Ah... See, some morons here just look at the new posts section and then don't notice which particular forum they're posting in. As such, these morons miss the completely and totally obvious.
I can't believe I missed something so bloody obvious.

Gas per gallon-$100
Kerosine or lamp oil per gallon-$50
Presumably it'd vary dramatically. If the PCs are working for some fortified settlement on the Gulf of Mexico that's managed to secure an offshore rig and set up its own refinery, or if they've got a bunker town in the pacific northwest that's set up it's own Thermal Depolymerisation plant (I love Thermal Depolymerisation, and so will you if you google it), then gas prices may well be even cheaper than they are in the real world.
But if, on the other hand, you're hiding out in a little enclave of humanity in the New England states and the rebel economy's just been screwed by heavier than usual Bug activity, you might be looking at a heck of a lot more than a hundred bucks worth of trade goods for a gallon of gas.
