Active Robotech Fan sites?

Unread post by Kargan3033 »

Do any of you know of any Robotech fan sites that are still active, I tried searching for some fan sites but most of them were toasted.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Wow, Steelfalcon had been up a long time. Must have just been brought done not to long ago. I'd still go there from time to time just to see it was still there, and the last time I went, it was. But ya, just went to the link, its gone. :-( Tis a sad day indeed.

you can find the third invid war story at fanfiction.net as well.
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/2029457/1/ ... Dandelions
(since it is just fiction, no gaming related material, i figure it is safe to post the link)

even if it is for an older, fan derived setting, its actually quite a good story.

there is another one by the same author as well.

She never said. They're posts of her discussion about it, years after the fact, floating around the googles somewhere.

How about this one:

A different view on the war and charactors from 3 other anime are in this. Enjoy!

Can't recommend this one enough:
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11099043/1/Robotech-The-Ashes-of-Empire

It's not game-based, and it's fairly slow-moving, but it takes the fall of the Tirolian empire from the Zentraedi side and introduces a new set of Zentraedi boogiemen. It promises to be EPIC, with much culture-building.

Than the Sage among his Books,
For all the Empires and Kingdoms,
The Armies and Works that you hold Dear,
Are to him but the Playthings of the Moment,
To be turned over with the Flick of a Finger,
And the Turning of a Page"

Hi Kargan3033,

If you're interested in high-quality fan art/fiction, I recommend Robotech Visions. There's an entire archive of art to browse.

Give it a follow on Facebook, it's updated fairly frequently.

I cannot recommend Robotech Visions enough! It is truly the future of the franchise because its done by fans who understand that there are so many untold stories of Robotech that fans have desperately wanted to see done for years now. With just a relative handful of images the team there has managed to do more for the Robotech story than all the efforts by Harmony Gold in the last 15 years. Unlike the comics, they have only word of mouth to reach their audience and boy have they done so, at rates approaching the old comics in terms of exposure. In time, they could very well reach even more.....

Here, here. The style's quick and basic, but true to the original anime, and very dynamic. It also helps fill many of the storyline holes by showing us events uncovered in canon, or only suggested offcamera. I love it.
Then there's their amusing xover tributes. :D

Just saying, with the way things have gone with this short of thing, aka., anything getting to successful, HG seems to come in and stop it.
