Which main book?

Unread post by glitterboy2098 »

i'm curious, and i figure that maybe the current writers might find it handy to know what versions are the most common. so which of the three versions do you have?

the Manga size? or the standard size? i tossed in the Deluxe edition with its extra starship info too, since i know some people went with that one, or picked it up for the starships and other extras.

I went with delux as my purchase hardback because it had the additional material.

i got the Manga size first (budget concerns), then ordered the deluxe later, mainly for the spaceship stuff.

Just about the same for me.

Is there a standard sized that is not deluxe?

But I have to admit: I prefer the Manga sized books. I didn't think I would, but I do.

PDF Though, I prefer normal size... so...

The PB RT store has manga, hardcover and Gold hard cover.

I have manga and hardcover. Part of the reason I got the hardcover because I was sick of not being able to have the book lay open.

ok so i was wrong. i'd though PB had released a non-deluxe standard.. guess i got it confused with the macross and masters saga books.

i'll edit the options, you'll need to revote. :(

I bought the deluxe so I could get the stats on the motorcycle. The starships were an extra bonus, but not needed IMO since I had them available in 1e. I also contacted Palladium after they stated they were no longer going to produce Manga, to not reprint the new material in the Hard Cover within New Generation.

Manga size..because it was cheap and convenient to carry, though it suffers the same problem of the larger soft cover editions of the past...peeling cover lamination.
