Minmei: "Yes, they do make an odd pair."

#BLAM!#

Edwards: (Realizing he's just been gut shot with his own gun)

Minmei: (On the phone) "Hello? GMP? I just shot an intruder. Unfortunately not before he killed my cousin."

Kyle: "What!?!"

Minmei reaches around and twists Kyle's neck until it snaps...

But aside from hating the Hunters(at one point of other) and an unhealthy obsession with Minmei, and maybe some serious self-serving egomania, they're not alike at all. Edwards is as self-serving militaristic as one can be(the guy was a mercenary who joined the establishment when he saw where the post-Visitor money was going), Kyle was a feckless anti-establishment punk with no real plan or sense of reality of the situation at all. Edwards corrupted his corner of the establishment to serve his own ends, while Kyle JOINED the establishment, although he seems to have quickly gone off-reservation to go after Minmei.

True, and at least for Kyle, he seemed like he was trying to redeem himself, a little.

Edwards is behind Kyle in the stands and leans over to say "at least we shouldn't be able to be simul killed here right?"
Kyle replies "I don't think so I mean its just football, There is a armored glass screen between us and the field and...."

Stray football goes right through the armored glass, decapitates Kyle, and his head kills Edwards.

That's NOTHING compared to the time the hurricane put the pole cue on a near supersonic trajectory across town and through Edwards' left eye socket...after going through the one opening in the armored shutters over the windows of his apartment.

What was that, entry #44,000? After about a hundred other objects chucked from orbit, including a whale, a potted petunia, several dozen tungsten girders, and Skylab.
(I once tried to assemble a comprehensive list of all the numbered ways we've listed Edwards killed so we don't have repeat-quotes, but I lost that list somewhere...)

given the processing power needed to run a bolo AI, i doubt you could fit it into a Roomba.

so clearly, Janice pulled a skynet and uploaded it into hundreds of the things, using a distributed processing set up.. onem indwith a 'body' composed of many independent parts that can operate separately..

May have been the stream nozzle that was put through his HEAD by the high pressure....
The BOLO-net contemplated trying to pump the equivalent of liquid oxygen through the system, but there were too many limitations to the water fountain system(cooler couldn't drop the temperature enough, seals and fixtures would shatter due to the cold, etc....). Actually there's precedent in the original Bolo stories for them being able to generate blasts of supercold air(I believe the so-called 'last' story in the original Dinochrome Annals has a stripped-down Bolo messing up alien salvage gear by freezing it), so they'd know something about weaponized cryogenics.
