A brave poster has fallen

Unread post by Nekira Sudacne »

It's with a sad heart that I have to report that one of our forum members and a personal friend of mine, Khyron_Prime, has passed. You might have noticed he mostly talked about Robotech and Macross on those forums. You may also have heard about a little incident where he was banned from Anime Expo for life for hitting Tommy Yune with a cream pie in 2007. I can safely say that he had always lived his life with that kind of headfirst passion. He left behind friends, family, and a few comics and even his own indie RPG. He was the poster who first introduced me to Palladium Books when he roped me into his Robotech campaign back in 2003. Farewell old friend. You will be missed.

That is very sad to hear. Though I did laugh at the thought of Tommy Yune getting a cream pie tossed at him.

Why imagine it? he had it on camera!

Note: I had no idea this happened until well after the fact. Suffice it to say he didn't much care for the shadow chronicles.

Interesting that he was banned given that Tommy seemed to have taken it in stride?

Probablly done administratively after the fact by people who operate the convention.

A shame to lose one of our contributors here. I hope his family and friends find solace in his memory.

A person is not truly lost if he is remembered,
By your recollections, his legacy is in good hands.

And the Turning of a Page"

He was lucky he was not arrested. But Tommy did seem to take it well. I would have to agree with your opinion, it was more than likely a admin choice. They generally don't like it when vendors and guest get assulted. Even if it is funny to watch.

Never knew Khyron_Prime but it is sad to hear of someone passing on. Looking at the cream pie joke I think that was funny and good on Tommy for taking it in stride like that. I showed my friends the video and one of them said that he had guts to actully pull a stunt like that at a con.

Condolences to his friends and family.
I was raised to beleive if you can't say something nice about a person, say nothing at all. This has led to living a very quiet life.

Someone who tells you what to think is trying to control you. Someone who teaches you how to think is trying to free you.
