My son and I are watching the old Blade movie and I remembered that I saw a Day Walker R.C.C. on a Fan Pae Site years ago. I can'r find it now, but does anyone out there remember that?

There probably was, but because it constitutes a conversion, we can't talk about it here.
HOWEVER...there is a half-vampire/lesser vampire in the Nightbane game. They're vampire victims who managed to resist being converted into full vampire thralls. They're not as susceptible to the same vulnerabilities as vampires, and not as powerful, but they keep their free will and act as free agents.

Wampyres, he might have more luck obtaining the "Nightbane" core book though.
*wonders if Impervious to Energy would protect against sunlight*
