Rune Warriors vs Anti-Magic Cloud vs Negate Magic

Are Rune Warriors really "rune" warriors? They get they powers from pattern magic and are transformed into Supernatural Creatures. That being said. In the case of an anti-magic cloud or negate magic, rune weapons are unaffected. Also, rune warriors channel ppe but they don't really cast spells. They magic is activated similar to psionics through concentration.

So, does a Rune Warrior lose his abilities if stuck under an anti-magic cloud.

I'd assume yes, but wanted to get others thoughts on it. But if yes, since the pattern makes them a supernatural being, is that lost as well?
