Question about gamers in your group that play rifts

So, we have all run into those players in our groups that believe they are God's gifts to gaming or Rifts...

A lot of them like to say "well, it is OBVIOUS that..." or "well, we ALL know that..." when they have a dispute with a fellow player.

Do most people let that go, or does it normally insight additional aggression from other players?

Personally, when I hear a player say something like "we all know that..."

I hear "everyone that is not an idiot knows..."

An I alone in this?
